Smith has looked better going up in weight, more steady. I expect a good fight with both guys going forward trying to find the other fighter's weaker points.

Edge goes to Smith because he has more experience at the highest level and was dead on the weight at 168 as opposed to 175 which suits him better.

If you asked me a year ago I'd have picked Morrell to destroy him without a second thought. I will still edge Morrell only far more reluctantly. I feel he should win this comfortably, he certainly has the tools to but for me considering his pedigree he really lacks a boxing brain. Not sure a new trainer can do much despite him having an amazing skillset to work with, you would think he'd be every boxing trainers wet dream. I remember he fought Julio Cesar La Cruz as a kid in the amateurs and looked real promising but you could see the naivety and a lack of experience forward on however many years later, he's still that kid.
