Parker will have the WBO meaning the status of THE heavyweight championship will be disputed, and you won't be able to put Usyk above the man he ducked.

I called out Usyk, and he didn't fight me, so now I'm the real champ.
I think Mohammed Bone Sawman has turned off Turkis money tap and he now needs to turn a profit. Unfortunately the guy is totally shït at matchmaking and has been overpaying for lackluster fights.
He's run out of British hype jobs to throw at Usyk unless he can manufacture another one with Yung Mo. Dana White is the new guy blowing smoke up Turkis ass and looking for a free ride like Hearn and Warren took him on.
Usyk is not gonna K.O Parker. If anything, he'll win a close decision.
If anyone is gonna K.O anyone, an'll be Parker knocking Usyk out.
Whatever floats your boat.
Fury is "retired" again this week and there's no way Kabayel is a bigger fight than Parker.
Parker is a former WBO heavyweight titlist and he has way more notable names on his record. Some of them were super washed, but still:
Frans Botha
Carlos Takam
Alexander Dimitrenko
Andy Ruiz
Hughie Fury
Anthony Joshua
Dillian Whyte
Alex Leapai
Derek Chisora twice
Joe Joyce
Deontay Wilder
Zhilei Zhang
Martin Bakole
Compared to Kabayel:
Derek Chisora
Andriy Rudenko
Kevin Johnson
Arslanbek Makhmudov
Frank Sanchez
Zhilei Zhang
The biggest names Kabayel as faced are also on Parker's resume. While Parker has multiple heavyweight world titlists (Ruiz, Joshua, Wilder).
I get that Turki might just shell out the money for Kabayel because of his ethnic background, but there's no way he's actually the more lucrative option on the whole.
You never know...they might skip Parker and have Moses vs Usyk if Moses wins in style (though I have my doubts, and there is a chance Whyte is too much for Moses if he's got anything left in his tank). Turki loves British fighters because the UK has a big fanbase where the fans actually spend the money, so it makes sense that he's interested in creating the next money machine, given AJ and Fury are towards the end of their careers.
I think nothing is decided yet, and I was just thinking out loud. Actually, if Ruiz had any self-respect and discipline, that is the fight I would have loved to see, i.e., Usyk vs Ruiz, given Ruiz has a good chin and fast hands. But he chose to just waste his prime years being lazy, fat, and not fighting. It will all depend on the outcome of August 16, whether we see Usyk vs Parker, Parker vs Itauma, or Usyk vs Itauma, or something else altogether.
No it isn't.
Usyk vs Dubois had very limited traction
I'd LOVE to see them try and justify putting Parker vs Usyk on PPV in the UK.
It'll be PPV in New Zealand, and will be bundled with the free rodeo burger from Burger King.
If only it were Carls Jr, I'd buy it!!!
Parker has name value in the US and UK which are far bigger and more lucrative markets than Germany. Parker has fought on PPV in the UK four times, he's fought on major cable outlets in the US, he's fought on DAZN.
He's fought in the US 4 times, the UK 7 times, (both England and Wales), Australia, New Zealand, Saudi Arabia 4 times, Germany, and Samoa.
All of Kabayel's fights have been in Germany, Poland, Serbia, Monaco, Turkey, or Saudi Arabia.
Usyk vs Parker is a PPV fight in the UK.

Parker deserves a shot but he will be KO'd in less than 9

Kabayel is German, Parker is from NZ which has like 4 million people.
German TV money makes Kabayel a lot more lucrative. Resume doesn't make money.

Pasifikans are trending, from Lilo and Stitch to Moana to Chief of War.
Parker v Usyk is global viewing, Kabayel v Usyk is domestic Euro.

Usyk is a latecomer to the party and only has 1-2 fights left in him. He has done enough to prove himself in the boxing world and would be looking at the most lucrative fight(s). That fight may not be Parker if Turki does not put up the money. I won't be surprised if Parker fights Itauma (provided he wins), and the winner will get the option to face Usyk (if he is still around).
In the meantime, Usyk faces Kabayel or Fury, or someone else.

^^^Haha...Whatever you need to tell yourself champ.
Have a great life. Parker sure is. Mine is pretty sweet too!
Parker doesn't sleep at night.
All he sees is Joe Joyce mowing him down.
Probably not too dissimilar to you, but you see Joseph 'mowing' you down... :lol1:
Yep...won him the fight going away laughing.
Joyce, bless his little cottonsocks, will always have that annihilation of Parker to jerk off to.
It was a damn good fight!
Nicked him the fight because he simply couldn't and was afraid to compete*
Kabayel showed us how it's actually done.
Joyce, bless his little cottonsocks, will always have that annihilation of his play thing Parker to jerk off to. It's true!
And Parker will always have that PTSD of how easily the slowest boxer in the world made him his little plaything and ragged him around the ring as if he didn't exist.
Yep...the very same Parker but not the same fighter these days.
The Parker that fought Joshua was a fresh faced bumpkin from down under trained by a dodgy grifter with form and managed by a guy wayyyy out of his league.
Parker consequently got jobbed by a helpful ref. His trainer exposed as limited and his manager a given lesson in how to lose with no rematch clause.
The same Parker 6 months later and with the same team got the same result. Jobbed by U.K's finest. A roided up Whyte and slimy Eddie the Eel.
Going into the Joyce fight with a case of sniffles, lack of conditioning and not much of a game plan other than swing for the hills and hope to blast Joyce outta there in the early rounds saw Parker, gas, fade and get splattered late. He still went out on his shield.
2025 version Parker. The one Dubois ducked has a quiet, calm, steely ultra disciplined determination to become a 2 time champ. He's not the same man or fighter that stepped into the river with Joshua, Whyte or Joyce. 3 overhyped flawed fighters who Parker would mop the floor with today.
Vs Usyk, Parker has the best chance of any fighter Usyk has faced since Chisora. Parker is more mentally stable than Joshua, in better condition than Fury and a far better boxer than Dubois. He is also better trained and is much more disciplined than them.
Write The Mighty Oilskin off at your peril. Fans of Wilder, Zhang and Bakole did but here we are. Parker is the last man standing of this era and the final hope of defeating Usyk in it.
He's earnt the opportunity and desreves his shot wayyy more then anyone. Kabayel, Itauma, Fury whom ever needs to get in the queue behind Parker and earn their shot.
It's not a forgone conclusion Usyk wins easily. May the best man win on the day...
This is a whole lot of excuses for a guy who has lost multiple times and also has at least 3 contentious decision wins. I like how you make these excuses for his losses but dont mention that Bakole came in on 2 days notice, Zhang was 41 years old and got beaten more easily by Kabayel, and Wilder was a washed post-Fury version who had been out for over a year.
This narrative that Dubois ducked Parker is unfounded too. You mean he realised he could get the much bigger Usyk fight and went for that instead. If he was ducking Parker he wouldnt have taken the fight in the first place. I dont think its anywhere near a given that Parker wins that fight if it happens either.
Anyway, all this talking about who has the best chance to beat Usyk is dumb. The man is 38 years old, when he loses its going to be to father time more than anything else.
...that was the game plan. Zhang did nothing over the last half of the fight. He could barely keep his hands up and was throwing 2 shots a round if that.
Parker won that fight easily. And no he wasn't beaten up, ****** up or affected by the flash knock-downs.
Oilskins recuperative powers are second to none now that Fury has retired.
Parker gave as good as he got. It was an epic fight with Parker going out on his shield.
And why should Parker fight anyone, especially Kabayel, if there isn't a title at stake ?
The Mighty Oilskin has beaten everyone Fast Eddie, Fisheyes and the Camel racer have cöckblocked him with.
The gameplan was to run for his life, get knockdown every time Zhang landed and do no damage back.
Great gameplan. Bravo. Lol.
Parker was dismantled by Joyce, who landed at will despite being slower than a snail.
That beatdown was utterly disgusting.
One thing I will give credit for is that Parker went back in the ring after that, because no doubt he still has nightmares about it.
You are right about one thing though. Parker should sit on his title shot. He will get beat if he faces anyone, he shouldn't risk his position.
His chin is shit to shit since Joyce destroyed it and he's afraid to commit to anything now. Just runs and hopes he survives
Won't take much for him to see stars again. That PTSD will kick in.
does parker have any aussie fans that could fill a stadium and do an eddie hearn type deal to get usyk to go to AUS for the fight
Could fill 20 thousand I reckon but more $$ to be made in UK
