you guys want an illegal substance to be overlooked by a sport commission? are you guys smoking crack? :*******:
thats all we need for the sport to start not caring about these kind of things...lets put more lack of organization and rules in boxing so not only is favortism shown and bouts manipulated...but now everyones high...
great idea...smh :*******:
Care to disclose what other alts you go by.:lol1:You say your not a Pacfan yet you waited almost two years with out a single post from this alt, until inspired to do so when it came about Manny. Sure ofcourse your not a pacman fan:lol1:Again care to disclose what other alts you go by?
I have no other alts...actually always checked the forums but never bothered to post. I'm NOT a pacman fan...but the obvious is the obvious...
Besides that even if I WERE I wouldn't let being a FAN let my judgement be clouded LIKE YOURSELF. I'm a boxing fan first I could care less about an individual fighter.
I watched pacman show ring generalship, land better punches, more punches and control the entire pace of the fight from the beginning to the end. What were you watching? Do you know what your looking at? Or do you just roll over and accept what ever the commission says?
Fight was fixed. People like you who support that nonsense BECAUSE your a zombie with no brain to think for yourself is the reason no change is made and things arent cleaned up in the sport. If people were honest and not star struck maybe we can have an honorable sport instead of money and politics controlling bs lopsided ridiculous decisions.
I know I will get flamed for this but I think Martinez would lose to Chavez Jr.
I like Martinez a lot and I think Chavez Jr is on illegal substances -- he's a unit. That being said...although Martinez is slick and fast as hell Chavez is strong as an ox and he has good enough movement to keep up.
I actually choose Chavez Jr here by devastating KO
Bottom line, You didn't bother making a single post about any robbering or unjust decision until Pac was the one the media was playing as a robbery. I guess your only moved or inspired to make a comment when it comes to Pac cause I don't know if you notice but their have been other decisions that are questionable, but perhaps you didn't notice lol....
Actually I made this account after my disguist of the Rosinsky/Rodriquez super middle weight fight...
I like to see the fighter who DESERVES the fight get the decision.
Rosinsky deserved the UD over Rodriquez
Marquez deserved the UD over Pacman
An Pacman deserved the UD over Bradley
And MANY MANY other BS money driven political decisions
No alt acct and no manny Pac fan here bud.
Anyone who thinks Bradley even came CLOSE to winning more then 3 rounds doesn't have an understanding of boxing...
OBVIOUSLY there was some sort of money being thrown around weather it be a rematch, a judge payout, they thought manny was past his prime and wanted to bring up the next guy...whatever.
Manny Paquiao CLEARLY won the fight and I'm not a PacMan fan... I thought he lost To Marquez... I don't see anything different in a 2nd fight...Bradley was totally outclassed.
This guy? Oh really...
More chance of a one legged bloke winning an ar5e kicking competition.
That's the only time he's even touched the canvas ...maybe his worst performance and he still KOed the dude.
You and Pavlics corner are using this as the basis ... go watch the Rodriquez fight. He's a totally different fighter.
Oh so this is all based on him putting in a good performance against an overrated, very mediocre prospect, I see.
Maybe you are all right & I am wrong but I think Pavlik crushes this guy. I don't think he has the style to trouble Pavlik and he sure as hell hasn't been hit by a guy of Pavliks size or with his power.
Actually he fought Yathomas Riley in the ametuers and didn't get dropped and won. Rileys skills aren't Kelly's but hes WAY bigger and hits WAY harder that was at 178
Anyone can get KOed don't get me wrong...but your giving Pavlic all this credit cus of what he did in a lighter division in 06. He's never done anything but lose at super middle weight besides go to rehab and get schooled by Hopkins and Martinez.
Alls I'm saying is this is no walk in the park.
Pavlic cannot outbox Rosinsky dude...he can possibly drop him...but he has to catch him flush off guard.
Zab Judah just cries and makes excuses during fights. Wasted talent. If he had the gas at the time they fought he was the 1 person (IF HE HAD GAS REMEMBER). That I thought woulda gave Flyod a great fight...he did the first few rds then the partying and weed smoking came out and his poor conditioning took over.
MORALES -- TKO.
You can't teach certain things nomatter who you are sometimes as a trainer it is better for you to maximize on a fighters talents rather then try to greatly improve on things they aren't great at.
Freddie roach is great at making a fighter great at what the fighter is good at. Sounds stupid but think about it.
It's a fight and when u start getting hit you fall back into your old ways ... Roach perfects those old ways so to speak.
I like him.
1- Roy Jones Jr
2- Lucian Bute
3- Ricky Hatton
4- Victor Ortiz
5- Zab Judah
Wtf is this? A list of your fav boxers? Judah?!!! Need you be reminded of Costa Tzu??? Roy Jones?!! Really??? Lol wtf kinda list is that...
Poor clean face Bradley got his azz kicked..LMAO..Oh boy..
We are judging fights by bruises now? Ah I was confused I thought there was a point system.
So if a guy get accidental headbutted but lands more solid accurate punches the whole fight he still deserves to lose because he had the bigger bruise.
Seems legit!
I dont mind it. The guy has some skills but is a work in progress. I feel like he gets hit too much and Stevenson would not be a very good match up atm. The guy does have 2 kids and a wife so why risk his life?
With that being said, I am not sold on Stevenson either. I think he just relies on his KO power. If you get someone who can box him and take a couple of his shots, he loses.
I hear you but the winner of that would get a huge shot ... These are the fights that should happen.
The entire division FEAR Adonis Stevenson.
But some believe otherwise...
1) Open a new tab, and go to YouTube
2) Copy/Paste: adonis stevenson 2005
3) Select the 1st video, and you'll see how Stevenson dominates Edwin Rodriguez back in the days...
*You'll probably understand WHY? Edwin is avoiding dangerous Adonis now...
- Now you know...
Adonis Stevenson is Faster...
so because a fighter has the potential to give you a fight you avoid him? thats why boxing sucks nowadays...it was a MANDATED QUALIFIER he shouldnt be allowed to duck him ...
Nobody counted him out on here, literally just about everybody on here said he was going to pull it off, he was this & that.
I didn't rate him or his performance very highly.
All I seen was quite an average guy that fought rather negative and tried to steal one or two rounds.
He moved quite well but apart from that I seen nothing special.
The were quite a few ppl thinking he had a legit shot including myself. Looked like he was respecting Pavs power but not special? I disagree. the fight was much closer then the judges had it although I agree Pavlic won I had it 96-93 ... I had it 6 rounds to 3 with 1 Rosinsky round minuses for the 10 8 round in the 2nd.
For a young fighter/prospect with only 18 fights to go in there and keep up with a former world champ/puncher like Pavlic is credible. Taking the fight and showing durability.
I think if Pavlic shows his worth in the division it makes it even more impressive.
I like Pavlik, but over time he has lost some things that I do not see coming back. There was a time when he made opportunities with his jab, and on top of it never stopped punching. That opened up a lot of doors for him in a fight.
He created opportunities for himself in there. Now he seems more of a reactionary fighter, almost too patient. He is too slow to be reactionary. All too often now he ends up fighting his opponents fights. He is getting by with it now, but when he starts fighting the top dogs, he may end up looking like a fish out of water.
There was a time when he was considered a very accurate puncher, but now we see him hitting air alot. That is due to him not relying on his jab like he used too. He has to use it and then sneak in something right after it. He is too slow to catch good fighters on guard. He has to catch them off guard. He needs that big jab back.
He broke down Sigmon and Jaco ... He had a ton of trouble with Rosinsky because Rosinsky can box. He was a national champion and a 4 or 5x golden glove winner in NY...guys like that usually have strategy in a fight...the formula to beat pav is to not let him get set ... If you noticed Rosinsky used a lot of lateral movement...and frustrated Pavlic a lot. If pav fights a straight up guy like frotch or Kessler I think he can win...
Put a guy like Ward in front of him he will be overwealmed unless he gets a punch off.
That fight was a landslide ... PAC clearly won. I only gave bradley the round PAC took off in the middle and the last round...and barely
Anyone who watches that fight and sees Bradley a winner doesn't have a clue as to what they are looking at. The judges aren't TOO OLD the judges are crooked. The whole fight was like 1 big joke that everybody but the fans seem to be in on.
Someone should explain to Edwin Rodriquez that not only Rosinsky thought the fight was bull but we as a boxing community thought so too. I haven't met a single person that said "Rodriquez CLEARLY won" but I HAVE Met tons of people thinking Rosinsky won. Some ppl think it was close or the fight could had went either way but this Edwin Rodriquez character is believing his yes men.
Nuff said-Pavlik is fighting a stiff who sometimes boxes when he has time. Rosie is a part time pug and a full time hose holder.
You joined this site JUST to bash Rosinsky...did he smack you around in your NY neighborhood? :(
You mad bro?
