I had a dream last night Martinez vs Chavez jr

The only reason Sergio took any shots from those guys is because they are technically sound, excellent boxers. You have to also look at their records, they are undefeated or have one loss and a robbery. The guys that Chavez has been fighting are not on the same level. Chavez is wide open, look at the first 4 rounds of the Lee fight.......can you imagine Sergio hitting him with those same punches? Martinez is going to sit back and smash this dude's face in....also, these other guys were heavy underdogs that Sergio more than likely underestimated. Against Chavez he is going to be ready for war and ready to hurt this guy......The lil tike is gonna get that ass taxed and put in the scrap heap. This right here :boxing:

don't see Martinez stopping Chavez he'll win, but not quickly or easily, his power is overrated Chavez is too big for Martinez to blow through and his body attack will trouble Martinez on the whole, Martinez' movement will edge the fight for him probably a 116-112 type of decision

you're post is already wrong in the fact that are comparing a chavez jr. vs a margarito? margarito is too inaccurate of a pressure fighter. he never fully focused on the body. where as chavez is a natural body puncher and has a larger variety of punches than margarito. it might take chavez 2 or 3 maybe even 4 rounds to start the action and thats the one similarity he has with margarito. but when chavez begins the pressure you will see that he will be lots more effective than when margarito whooped martinez's ass. You're right, Margarito was 10x better than Chavez Jr. I shouldn't compare the two. Margarito beat a really young, untested, Martinez 12 years ago. You have to be a dumbass to bring that fight up.

There's a reason he has never been worked to the body, his body position when he fights is to bend at the waist, so anytime someone tries to get close they get tagged. I had a dream last night that Martinez made Chavez jr do a "no mas" after just 2 rounds. I dreamt that Martinez just came out swinging, and ducking and dodging and countering everything that Chavez threw at him with 2 or 3 punch combos to the face. I think Martinez is going to win, but I think its going to take him at least 9 to 10 rounds to do it.
