Here it is:
B. Hopkins (Ring Mag)
Chad Dawson (WBC)
Clinton Woods (IBF)
Zsolt Erdei (WBO)
Antonio Tarver (IBO)
S. Drews (WBA)
In my opinon the Ring Mag Belt and the WBC in the most important.:boxing:
It's good that Tarver is back and great to have boxing on network T.V. again but could the IBO have found a lil better selection of opponent? They should just mail Tarver the belt now..........:nonono:
Grady his had a long tough road in the brutal sport of Boxing. Maybe the guy just got his money; a well deserved payday and took care of his family. The guy was 35 at the wrap of the show. He's had some tough battles; even fought Jamaine Taylor!!!
in my opinion winky should've won the fight against...if he fought the 12th round different it would've been his for sure...love winkys defense
It's simple. Just like the NFL; "Defence Wins Championships". He is very composed and does not gamble. His reach is long and his catch and counter is text book.:boxing:
He can't effectively fight at that weight ever again......
Maybe he can't, but if he could make 168 and be healthy it's a better fit. Joe Calzaghe is the king and is up there in age. Joe has always seen something in Roy that he feared. The Super-Mids is the perfect place: smaller men, less power, and less experience at the moment
Jones had more talent and skill. Roy just got invovled with too much outside the ring. He was more offensive and knew how to close the show. His punches hurt people also; even when he had to skate to UD's.
I understand where he is coming from because there is more skill in boxing, but I would have to disagree about their not being any skill. Their is some especially on the ground, but in the stand up it's really no contest, boxers have the better skills. It's gonna be a arguement that people will discuss for years.
This is well said!!!
So name someone who sucked at boxing and went to MMA. And don't say Jeremy Williams, he can't suck too bad with a 41-5-1 record.
Butter Bean baby!!! He went to MMA and is kicking ass! As for MMA to boxing; Nick Diaz is 2-0 as a pro boxer. He's not bad at all. Both of the fights were wars!!!
probably John Duddy after Green's lackluster performance against Miranda at 162
Duddy wins! John fights with the same wreckless style as Miranda. Green would titty fight him too.
This one is tight also
Yeah great shot, but against another guy dug-up from the grave yard. He was TKO by a Middle weight journeyman.............:nonono:
That's a fight I wouldn't mind seeing. Why doesn't this get made?
Who do you think would win that?
I'd have to put my money on Miranda laying the smack down.
I whould roll with Lacy. Jeff can take more of a beating than Miranda. I just seen Mike Nevitt/Otis Griffin (NABO Lhw), in Chi-town. You know I'm starting to like slugg fest more when fighters get over 160. It's what boxing needs. They should start matching guys up who invite action and agressive fighting. Miranda/Lacy, Lacy/Griffin,Miranda/Taylor,Griffin/Miranda,Taylor/Lacy,Taylor/Griffin; just think if all those would happen at 168LBs
Naw it was Otis Griffin

The show never finished on air, but apparently he won.
I don't know looks like DLH is getting ready to make good on the title shot; the kid's almost in the top 25. ESPN2 press release saids he's the co-main event 8/25/06. Too bad he isn't fighting Mora....lol :boxing:
Dominic Pesoli’s 8 Count Productions finishes out an outstanding month of world class professional boxing this Friday night, April 20th by presenting JUDGEMENT DAY at Cicero Stadium as two of the hottest young undefeated prospects in the sport, Abner Mares and Jonathan Oquendo return to Chicago. details]
Man that sounds like a great card. I've seen all these guys fight @ Desert Diamond here in Tucson,AZ. Which fights will be on T.V. I would love to see Mares and Griffin fight for their titles.............:boxing:
Yeah better than Bernard Hopkins and James Toney. Wake up please?
You have to remember when RJJ fought B-Hop he was still a work in progress and James Toney had to lose 40IBS in like 3weeks. Not one of these guys recieved a rematch in their prime; even after lobbing for some time might I add. Joe Calzaghe destorys RJJ at this stage of the game 8 out of 10 times. Plus the fights in London! RJJ had not a great fight against Woods there remember...........:nonono:
Like Bob said "until proven guity" hold your horses. They had to know that this was going through the system at any rate? Even if the guy is guity; they need to find the f*ck that abused Don too, because that's how these things work it's a sickness that keeps going. Shocker:puppy_dog

I understand Don's reply and it was down with so class I might add, but this guy Mobley is no walk through. I've seen him fight over the years and he'll have a bag of tricks for the youngster. Should be entertaining!
