If he did, would weight loss for the Tarver fights be let go and we can finally all agree he has a wanky chin?
No it couldnt. Do the research on mass muscle loss in a short period of time and see what you come up with. Plus hes almost 40 years old and those effects are intensified by his age. No one before him lost that kind of muscle weight in the sport so the facts are widely known/accepted.
I wouldnt mind seeing him fight Calzaghe in the states. IMO I think hes done and am the biggest RJJ fan out. Although he did show his skill against Ajamu. No check hooks and right hand leads. He threw alot of jabs and body shots. Maybe he can muster up a few more good fights, but I'm worried for him @ this age.
I think he can i believe Roy could make a great fight with Joe they are both around there in age. But believe it or not there is something in Roy that Joe fears beacuse this a match that shouldve happened years ago not now.Everyone wants to take a shot at Joe for beating both Lacy and Manfredo. So we see how things work out
He can't effectively fight at that weight ever again......
Maybe he can't, but if he could make 168 and be healthy it's a better fit. Joe Calzaghe is the king and is up there in age. Joe has always seen something in Roy that he feared. The Super-Mids is the perfect place: smaller men, less power, and less experience at the moment
I think he could probably be champ again at 175. I dont think there's any question, He'd have to beat a marquis name to ever be considered in the elite again which would be Calzaghe and Kessler basically, I doubt that will ever happen and that's really all that matters, alphabet titles are nice, but that's about it, their nice.
