Butterbean! Are you retarded? Dude, he got so tapped by Genki Sudo! And Sudo fights at 155. What is that, like a 200lb weight advantage? Butterbean is a joke in MMA just as he was in boxing.
C'mon were not gonna be ignorant idiots here to are we?
MMA is hugely technical and theres noway a pure boxer could go in there and become a champ without some kind of ground game
get your heads out of your asses and be the "bigger man"
MMA fans might resort to this type of crap but usually Boxing fans are more respectful
So name someone who sucked at boxing and went to MMA. And don't say Jeremy Williams, he can't suck too bad with a 41-5-1 record.
Butter Bean baby!!! He went to MMA and is kicking ass! As for MMA to boxing; Nick Diaz is 2-0 as a pro boxer. He's not bad at all. Both of the fights were wars!!!
true
there is no MMA guy who went to boxing and got to championship level...they couldnt make it in boxing.
But in mma even the guy working at the kwiki mart has a chance as long as he can do a jiu jitsu on the floor and mount a guy like a girl does when they ahve sex.
Boxing you gotta be top notch you only get to use your fists so if you are a wrestler of course you will hate on boxers becuse you cannot box.
This is exactly why boxing is way more of a sport than UFC, sports are strictly limited and based on rules. UFC is certainly more of a legit fight though.
Jens Pulver, Vitor Belfort, Yves Edwards, Alessio Sakara, Justin Eilers all fought as Pros afterwords, Rogerio Nogueira fights as an AM (started a few years back) and has won Gold at the South American Games and is competing in the upcoming Pan-American Games, and Matt Skelton did PRIDE and K1 before making the move over. Only Skelton has made the swich permament though, all the others continue to do MMA.
No MMA fighter is ignorant to believe they could become a hit in the world of boxing.
