I just hope these young pinoy boys are trying to be Manny "The Destroyer" Pacquiao and not Manny "tenk u gewd" Pacquiao
I've heard Freddie Roach saying that since he become ultra Christian he only wants to win the fight by UD.
I do not believe him but...
Poor Quigg :(

I hope that he won't follow the same way of Víctor Ortiz...
David Lemieux vs Curtis Stevens october 22nd in Montreal on HBOvia @TVASports— Simbros, Simon (@ThatSimbros) August 10, 2016
Boom!
Amazing news!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
:boxing::boxing:
I'm a Lemieux fan.
I believe he is the second best MW.
Retirement, dude crazy wants to fight Pacquaio, Cotto, Marquez, and Canelo
When I heard that I thought W T F...
He past his prime, he is now an step for upcoming fighters
I'm going to be all day long in a EDM festival, in Spain this fight is at 5:00 a. m. but I'm not gonna miss it because it's gonna be FIGHT OF THE YEAR along with Molina vs. Provodnikov.
Depends what country you're in. In the US I think this post-Manny & Floyd era looks dim at the moment & the dimmest time in quite awhile, certainly since I've been following boxing. In the UK doe things seem great if not the best in a long long time. And places like Russia & China still got their hey days ahead of them.
I think this is the best era for British boxing, a lot of Champions right now, and very good boxing events across the UK.
I'm jealous :) (from Spain) 👍.
Buying network airtime then putting on crap like Fonfara vs Smith? Can't imagine there's long term success in that
PBC could be the perfect platform for 2nd tier fighters to get to the next level, but no one is interested in crap mismatches. A respectable loss in a 50/50 fight on a major network could do more for a fighter than beating Joe Smith Jr
Obviously PBC is a paltform for 2nd tier fighters; the only "premium" fight they showed was Santa Cruz vs. Mares.
They build their boxers' careers then the good fights are shown on Showtime Boxing (they are building stars for Showtime Boxing).
Really, please explain. All I see is another B level opponent for g string.
Well, how many options does GGG have within the middleweight landscape?
He beat Lemieux then he has only two A-level opponent options: Jacobs and Billy Joe Saunders.
I've read that the Canelo fight will happen in September 2017 so before fighting either Jacobs or Saunders a fight with Eubank make sense from the economic point of view; a PPV fight in the UK plus the HBO money makes this the only fight that allows GGG to have a good purse.
He decided (GGG) to stay in the 160 division and clean it then move up so I think that this fight is interesting for the fans, specially because of the style of Eubank Jr.
Who are the best white American boxers ever? I think it goes something like...
1: Jerry Quarry
2: Kelly Pavlik
3: Tommy Morrison
4: Gene Tunney
5: Joe Smith Jr.
6: Chris Algieri
7: Butterbean
I'm not sure, though. How do you see it? And remember, Mexicans and South Americans and Puerto Ricans, generally anything from south of USA, such as Danny Garcia, doesn't count.
And by the way, let's be mature an keep racism out of this thread, it's just to find interesting information through history.
Algieri is from Argentinian descent so he doesn't count.
It is like a sine function; there are peaks and minimums, you have to understand that.
You cannot expect always being in the peak.

Suddenly will appear new boxing PPV stars that put the sport in the mainstream media again but I do not care about that.
I just enjoy the sport; there are always good fights.
You are talking like boxing is going to die or something like that; this is never going to happen.
I'm disappointed in both cards. Hbo and showtime stay wasting money on fights that nobody is calling for.
vargas vs Salido for example. The money from that card could have been used to make Walters vs Lomachenko since a couple of hundred thousand was the reason the fight didn't get made.
Lomachenko vs martinez is gonna be one sided, just like mikey vs martinez was. Martinez just isn't that good.
Lomachenko will win at least 10 rounds.
Provodnikov vs molina will be a war, but it doesn't deserve a main event slot.
But I will go with molina vs provo. Even though I'm not excited about either card
I rather hbo and showtime show one big fight per month instead of multiple bs cards a month.
I miss the good Ole days
Hopkins vs calzaghe
Mosley vs margarito
Cotto vs Clottey
Pacquiao vs marquez 1
Dawson vs pascal
Ward vs froch
Broner vs Maidana
Vazquez vs marquez
Donaire vs darchinyan
now we get vargas vs Salido and provodnikov vs molina as main events. Smh
I totally disagree.
Vargas vs. Salido has the potential to be FOTY, and the styles of both boxers will make an epic clash.
