Im seeing every top pbc fighter is fighting on showtime this year. Is pbc not doing any free networks fights anymore?

I saw the fight here in my home country (Panama) with some friends and we all thought canelo won, also a lot of pol who watched the fight thought the same (friends that are casuals mostly thought GGG won - but ppl who watch boxing regularly mostly told me canelo won) but then I go in the U.S. sites and social media and everybody is claiming GGG got robbed. One thing that ocurred to me is maybe they are being victims of watching the fight under a biased narrative by Jim Lampley, which is usual, was this case last night??

I am betting on this fight and have been looking at all the advantages canelo has, like counterpunching ability, head and waist movement, combinations. I'm trying to make a case in the lines of many ppl in boxing's beleif that canelo will outbox him and maybe stop him. I have even looked at GGG's inability to fight on the inside and that canelo might eat him up there. There is only one thing that doesn't add up when contemplating a posible canelo victory and I can't get around it. That's the fact that he always (in each and every one of his fights) fights in spurts. You never see him active for the full 3 minutes of a round. And you simply can't afford to do that against GGG. He WILL make you pay and possibly stop you if you start taking off parts of a round and just stay standing there, because if there's a thing we do know is golovkin knows how to get to you and put his shots well to harm you and there is no way you are just going to take his power and move on at this weight class. What y'all think? Do you have a way around this factor?

Interested to see how he's looking 9 days out of the fight, given all the talk that he's more out of shape or fatter than usual.

It has helped identify all human beings who dksab, meaning anyone who is claiming kovalev got robbed... Ward clearly dominated from 6th round on... he bossed the fight completely. Devastating to the body btw.. that really took a toll on kovalev plus the frustration, it wears you down mentally.

He has the power and the skill level to make it a great/highly contested fight. He's the only one in the division who can.

The fact that the lead boxing writer of the biggest sports network displays such a lack of appreciation and respect to the sport and its fighters as if he was a blog f*ckboy is a disgrace, and ESPN should be ashamed of themselves for allowing such a lack of professionalism in regards to the great sport of boxing.

all of you making noise because stevens threw back a few flurries at glolovkin that barely grabbed his attention, but the truth is glolovkin had him subdued since the 2nd round, was just slowly plodding him, it was a matter of time till he took him out of there Now i-m not one who will come here and say ggg is god or whatever, i-m just addressing this specific match up, although i due believe ggg is a very dominant fighter obviously, some of you just let your personal feelings get way too much in the middle of your capacity to make objective observations.

What a high level this kid demonstrated last night. For me, he is together with rigondeaux, lomachenko and ward (if he comes back at the same level) the top 4 p4p after floyd, with GGG and Kovalev a step right behind them. Can't wait to see him fight Inoue (eventhough it will probably be in Japan) and if he manages to move up in wait successfully maybe in about 2 or 3 years him and rigondeaux can become a dream fight.

Think it would be a pretty good matchup. What you guys think?

All those who say khan was dominating danny the first couple of rounds don't know sh*t about boxing. Danny was measuring khan since the fight began, countering khan's speed with timing in every exchange. It was just a matter of time before he put him in bad conditions with a shot. He already had him on his wheels since the second round. I think, if danny beats lamont and khan algieri they two should rematch, it would be a pretty big fight at Barclay's and the winner could take on Floyd at the Barclay's next. Since khan doesn't seem to want to fight brook or thurman to earn his shot. Another good option in case danny comes out victorious against lamont, would be for him to fight thurman on the next PBC at NBC, and the winner goes on to take on floyd in his last fight.

When Bob Arum says that at the end of the day the pot will be around 300 million, 180 for floyd and 120 for manny, does that mean that manny receives 120 million for himself or do you have to substract from his 120MM what goes for top rank, hbo and so forth?

Hadn't seen him fight until today, what a performance, what a fight, and what a great event from Ireland! Big arena and crowd was absolutely rocking! I feel bad for anyone who missed this fight, frampton demonstrated he's for real. I wouldn't say he'd beat rigondeaux, but Frampton vs. Rigondeaux in Ireland has become a huge fight at this point, and one I would very much like to see.

Please explain something to me. How the heck is this supposed to work, if boxing is a GLOBAL sport, not the NFL or the NBA which are national leagues only, that's why you have GLOBAL governing bodies like the WBA and the WBC... or are you suggesting the the United States should monopolize boxing or do an exclusive competition separate from the rest of the world? I mean you already have national tittles, like the NABF belt, don't you?

Obviously styles make fights and i think these two would make a great fight. Broner's not a mover he likes to stay in the pocket and will be looking to catch khan, and i think he has the mental and physical agility to do it at times during the fight and try to break a war or try to beat him up. Im not saying he'll win khan could def win too, we dont know what'd happen. What u guys think?

Just saw it in the news here in Panama. He claims that Don King stole him $27 million in total in his fights against DLH, Forrest (2nd fight), Mosley and Cotto. Says that for the DLH fight he only received $1.1 Million and was told that there was no more gains from the PPV. Afterwards he was told by DLH that he received $21 million from Don King. Mayorga claims he should've at least received $10.5 million for that fight. He's hiring a Cleveland attorney who has supposedly already won 4 lawsuits against Don King.
