What a high level this kid demonstrated last night. For me, he is together with rigondeaux, lomachenko and ward (if he comes back at the same level) the top 4 p4p after floyd, with GGG and Kovalev a step right behind them.
Can't wait to see him fight Inoue (eventhough it will probably be in Japan) and if he manages to move up in wait successfully maybe in about 2 or 3 years him and rigondeaux can become a dream fight.
His promoter is one of the best in Japan, what are you talking about?
By even grounds i mean not dragging down a career flyweight 4 pounds to successfully defend his crown. If the rematch happens it would be at a weight where Estrada is best at, with actual experience at a world stage and actual accomplishments under his belts. Not some green prospect fresh off of a Box Azteca tournament :lol1:
Need I explain further?
I stay salado, carnalito :sombrero:
:lol1: always get a good laugh out of that. Never ges old.

We get it he sucks. Carry on.
What do you mean "even grounds?" Now that he is out there if he continues to fight the "garbage" you claim he has fought than I can agree but him being in the lower weight classes and his promoters not being all that great until now has something to do with that. I don't think he is overrated at all but that is my opinion.

Maybe you're just mad Gallito is being showcased on Bein En Español.

If anyone thinks he's over rated they really need to study boxing skills. His record (resume) is what it is your eyes are supposed to evaluate talent if you know what your looking at!
Larryx...sorry but this kid is far superior to Floyd, his counter move/counterpunch sequences alone blow Floyd away.
This kid looks like Arquello and Duran combined together in Durans body.
He works to eliminate any judeges decision and that alone has lost it's value
in the current (tag) accepted style. The name of the game is to first stop the action, if you can't win the majority of the rounds second.
This kid brings excitement and anticipation to the ring and boxing sorely misses that. The two best known pros are Wlad & Floyd and their known for boredom over excitement.

How many of his fights have you seen?

That does nothing for me, nothing you said disproves my comments you considered as hate. Look, Sosa was a good win but seriously, he can be facing much better names. Are you contented with Roman feasting on no names and washed up fighters just to give you a good win every couple of years? If so, then I'm sorry to disagree with you but I'm not. I'm aware of his talent and how much he can accomplish but he's overrated at the moment, at least, in my opinion.
If he beats Eatrada than so be it, I take my loss and lose my bets but I'll happily praise Roman for finally beating Estrada on even grounds. In fact, if he steps up and continues to dominate all my "hate" would convert to nothing but praise and admiration. For now, aside from his skill set being showcased against limited opposition, I don't overrate him off one HBO performance.

Obliterating and landing over 50% of your power punches is a hell of a way to stardom especially at the lower weights. You should be happy that the lower weights are getting exposure like that. He also already beat Estrada and he will do it again. On top of that, he wins on foreign soil all the time. He has won all his belts if, I am not mistaken, on foreign soil. That in itself should get some praise. Don't worry Estrada's L will be coming soon (again).

How exactly am I hating? Prove me wrongs regarding Roman's resume over The last 5 years or so and I'll gladly accept my L.
Beating an overmatched, slow and over the hill Sosa is a ticket to stardom now?

Soy Pinolero :sombrero:
But Blanco, am I lying doe?
Lol. And you're not lying, Romans competition has been really poor since estrada other than yaegashi. He still beats estrada though who has looked great and accomplished a lot since their first fight.
Could of fooled the hell out of me. He must be half Mexican as well. Like I said before, though Roman has officially hit stardom. Once you have people hating on you than you have reached the top. :lol1:
I think the other half is Guatemalan or maybe Dominican :lol1:

Aztekkas is half Nicaraguan and loves roman.

How convenient that you forget to mention his best win. Juan Francisco Estrada. :boxing:
Seen an increase of Mexican posters/trolls hating on Gonzalez recently. WTF is up with that?

Estrada Had to drop to 108 and he was a nobody at that stage, I wouldn't consider it his best win taking the entire situation into account.
How exactly am I trolling? I love Roman and his skill set is amongst the best in the sport but to overlook his sub par competition as of the last 5 or 6 years is hilarious. Do you honestly consider his Sosa win great?
Dragging a flyweight up to super bantam makes you wet? Sheesh... Do you realize rigondeaux is damn near in his mid thirties, highly inactive as of late and 3 divisions apart from Roman? In fact, Roman and his great skill set would remain a mismatch against Rigindeaux, not based on skill but actual physicality. Could you imagine that sht, seriously, a fight where Rigo is the bigger man :lol1:
It's annoying to see how folks just be posting out of therir ass sometimes. Roman has unfinished business at 112, 115 and 118 is uncharted territory for the man yet you want him to jump up 10 whole pounds to take on Rigo.. Sigh. What next, Pacquiao should move up to face Ward since you know... He couldn't beat Floyd and Ward is the next big thing?
As for pound for pound, maybe, but top five would be hard to consider. Beating an over the hill, washed up Sosa, Yaegashi and my uncle don't catapult you into the top 5. Aside from that fact he has recently fought a man with more losses than most fighters have fights :lol1: his competition has been lukewarm for several years now. come on people, the kid is talented and all but one meh win over a 35 year old has been and he's the number 1 fighter pound for pound? He has time to grow and mold his own future, let him step up and face the Cuadras', Naoya's, Tete's and rematch Estrada before jizzing all over your monitors when his name pops up :)
