The fact that the lead boxing writer of the biggest sports network displays such a lack of appreciation and respect to the sport and its fighters as if he was a blog f*ckboy is a disgrace, and ESPN should be ashamed of themselves for allowing such a lack of professionalism in regards to the great sport of boxing.

What else is he?
he should pretend boxing is flawless
Yeah lol, I like Dan's honest approach he doesn't ass kiss and for that you gotta respect him he doesn't kiss up he gives his own view on it and at the very top of news articles its very hard to get that.
Steve Kim is very disrespectful towards certain fighters, too.
These guys act like childish forum trolls at times. Instead of like professionals.
Douglas Fischer is one of the best about I think, I'd like him to be the lead writer of boxing I do think he defends Canelo too much but I can't really recall him ever attacking or disrespecting a boxer he has a good sense of humour like Dan and Kim but he doesn't step over the line.

The motorcycle accident is the most exciting thing Verdejo has been involved in thr past year or so. Sorry, couldnt resist #boxing— Steve Kim (@steveucnlive) August 7, 2016
Posting something like this is bad but posting that without even knowing if Verdejo is ok or not is just pathetic, wouldn't expect much better from that guy though, him and Damn Rafael have been disresoecting fighters all their careers.

Pathetic....
people dont seem to know the difference between a "journalist/reporter" and an "analyst". Rafael is an analyst, and it seems ESPN likes his opinions enough to pay him for them. He is not a reporter or a journalist.
Complaining about it is the same as watching Rachel Maddow or Sean Hannity and complaining that they are biased. Of course they are, they are analysts, NOT reporters.......

That's disgusting. I hope some pro boxers put hands on these two chumps one day. Would be funny if tiny Rigo laid Fat Dan out. Lol
Since when did having tune ups become prohibited in pro boxing. Check out records of past greats, they always has fill up fights against journeymen or that type in between their important fights. The problem is if you JUST fight tune ups and that's it.
Why are you quoting me? Go read my post again.
That would be true if he were actually consistent and wasn't so bias.

Doug fischer is the goods... he actually can break down a fight and knows what hes talkinh about... the only thing fat dan can break down is the diffrence between the number 4 and 5 at burger king
this. FD s*cks. Dksab
Heaven forbid a journalist has the balls to call out a world class fighter for fighting a nobody.

Kim is one of the worse fan boy (Boxing journo in disguise) I have zero respect for him. It's very hard to respect most of them anyways. If you have a good PR behind you, then most of these ignorant boxing journos would be eating off your plate.

Well, he wasnt wrong, it was a bad fight and it looked bad that Ward couldnt finish a terribly outmatched old fighter but I agree Dan has little tact and probably should be managing a Taco Bell somewhere.
Again, you're giving that fat sack of crap too much credit. He shouldn't be managing ANYTHING as he doesn't understand responsibility (a key ingredient for any manager). Even at Burger King.
