Toney is a pro, he knows what he is doing, he also knows that age is a factor so he will look to be real active and get what he can get while he can get it.
I think the dramatic stoppage added to how people look at corrales, i think if he continued and lost the fight we would be worse off, unless he KO'd casamayor of course. i say it worked out as best as it could for him.
These guys dont need a rematch, i think they took alot from each other in the fight. i think erik is a little too small to fight diego, but i still think it would be a hell of a fight :boxing:
"bought" the dvd and loved it, the commentary is by some dude who says the exact same things that the HBO guys say, he just talks over it, they blur out some logos and stuff which is irritating, but other then that you see jones at his best, he was a monster at the lower weights and there is no doubt about that, KO power and that speed??? wow.
i just read where he had less time to train due to them moving the fight date up. regardless i see ruiz coming out trying to fight at a distance for the first few rounds and then going to his normal style. this isnt really a pick em fight but it is still a tough one to choose. ill go with Toney via 10th round KO.
it amazes me how many of you people are so fickle. I dont think either of these guys deserve anything less then full respect. Yea everyone knows Tito has problems with boxers, dont you think Tito knows this as well? he came out of retirement to fight the biggest stars and the best fighters and that is exactly what he did. Tito is a warrior who comes to fight and winky is a boxer who comes to box, the low blows were questionable at best and jay nady knew that as well thats why he waited until the 9th round to take a point. 70% of the fans on these sites are casual fair weathered fans.
i think that if Ruiz can work his gameplan it will be a typical ruiz fight, but if James gets his gameplan working then i see a lopsided decision or a ko for him.
I was told that InDemand PPV wont host the fight so if i want it ill have to try and download it or pay for the webcast. i think its because pride is on at the same time. i was very dissapointed.
both fighters deserve respect win lose or draw, they are both willing to fight each other when they could just fight scrubs. that being said, TITO TKO 10
