Fury fanatics should be studied. Like seriously. It’s like some kind of weird phenomena. Despite all the facts and evidence out there, they can just not see it. They’ll double down on Fury’s side and twist it just like the giant ogre himself. Incredible actually.
I've been a big fan of Fury for years but it seems to me that there are too many signs that he and his team have fucked up this fight. I'm sick and tired of the lack of prime fights now and the never ending boxing politics that prevents the big fights from happening. Like all boxing fans I just want to see the big fights. There's no other sport in the whole world where we don't get to see the best fighting or playing the best. There should have been a whole host of big fights this year and now we don't seem to be getting any of them.
Boxing is finished.
Exactly NSB is filled with idiots and trolls making ******ed ass threads and posts
Benzvidez is clearly the most challenging fight. Who do you want him to fight next?
I dont need to see that fight at 154. Think it would be a foregone conclusion. Would rather he fought Tszyu for the belt he'll pick up shortly then go for the other belts if Charlo comes back down.
Seems kinda dumb to me to have that mentality as the B-side
Here we go again, A-side B-side, who gives a fuck?
I just want to see the fight and December doesn't seem very realistic.
January / February onwards seems far more likely.
I really hope not.
Crawford hasn't even fought at 154 yet.
Would love to see him in with Tszyu or Charlo though but unfortunately we'll probably get the Spence rematch.
It's not like Canelo needs to fight anyone under 168, and more like Crawford needs Canelo if he wants a Canelo payday. I don't think Crawford gets to dictate the terms.
Not another one with this A-side pish. He made a suggestion that he may be willing to do, he isn't dictating anything.
Canelo needs to fight Benavidez, not WW's at a catchweight. Besides Bud has other options. I like the Tim Tszyu fight for Bud. Im sure itd generate a lot in Australia. Or Tank should move up and fight Bud.
He should definitely fight Tszyu next. Go for the belt and hope that Charlo makes it back down after the Canelo fight.
You guys really think I’m on some bs! Just watch, unless there is an injury, June 17th, 2023 in LV, Crawford vs Spence is going down!
Also be ready for the announcement of Thurman vs Boots.
Any Bud vs Spence bets wanna be made, just holler at me. No bs bets:boxing:
Once upon a time that fight would be on the undercard to a fight like Spence v Crawford. Not a chance nowadays.
Live with it ; Canelo will never fight Benny
I ain’t losing any sleep
And most of the clowns on this site biatching about it are just straight up Canelo haters
Why ? cause they just wanna see him lose
Misery loves company and it can’t be any truer than what is going on with Canelo and his fans/haters
Clearly you don't want to see the fight as you think he will lose. That is pathetic.
Why are you a boxing fan if you don't want to see competitive fights?
Bivol traumatized this man. If he woulda beat Bivol he wouldve had the nuts to fight a taller bigger fighter in Benavidez
”He bring nothing to the table except 25 more lbs on the night” as if Mungia brings soo much smh
I didn't think that he was scared of Benavidez before these comments but now I think they actually confirm it.
Oh, the same Usyk who kept silent until yesterday and never mentioned anything about being signed for the 23rd. He even said that this is not the date he would like, but now started singing a different song! For what is fair - Fury insisted on that date and now has to do it.
Both of them looking like huge hypocrites. It is what it is though and I would rather see the fight when both are fully ready for it.
Tell me you aren’t being serious..What about Crawford who’s blatantly avoiding Boots(I favor Crawford to beat him BTW), they’re closer in weight too. Crawford is looking to cash out, but when Clenelo does it too, it’s a problem. Y’all can’t pick and choose when it’s convenient for y’all, have to call a spade a spade.
Boots isn't even in the same weight class ffs.
Yu are right. Bivol fouht a very small Canelo who is even small for 168. Canelo began his reign at 147 then 154 ( His ideal weight), than 160 (bigger fighters than him), than 168 ( much bigger fighters than him), and 175 (too much). Canelo chose Bivol to prove himself but lost, not a big deal it was on points, never was hurt and figuth well but too slow baceuse of the weight. If Bivol moves up 5 weight classes like Canelo did, I´ll admire him but he won´t, he´s a coward. Bivol went into obscurity after Canelo gave him the chance to fight him ( just to prove himsel, he didn´t have to).
WTF is this dumb shit?
He's not a boxing fan. He's a fan of another man. Everything else is secondary to his love for another man. Once you understand that, the excuses, lies and mental gymnastics start to make sense.
"He just doesn't want to fight another Mexican". He then fights yet another Mexican.
"Benavidez said mean things about him and he doesn't want to reward him with a payday". Proceeds to say he'll fight Benavidez for 150-200 million which would be the biggest payday Benavidez has ever dreamed about.
Everyone, including this dummy, knows he's terrified of losing to Benavidez.
I agree with this. I don't think he's scared of Benny but scared of losing another fight.
The fact that he demanded that amount of money and said he offers nothing but an extra 25 pounds says to me he sees that fight as much more challenging than the ones he has been taking and is worried if he loses another fight that his future earnings would be seriously diminished.
So this just verifies that he’s ducking Boots.
He's achieved eveything at welterweight. It's understandable he wants to move up and test himself against the belt-holders there. He should drop the belts though.
Edgar could be convincingly cast as a low-level henchman working for a guy like Tony Montana.
He's got the look and the demeanor of a pugnacious and earnest but not-too-bright enforcer.
"You got a job Edgar"

This is the only question everyone should be asking Canelo.
You know, if Canelo was to say he’s afraid of Benavidez, I don’t think he will lose credibility. People will respect him for owning it.
His extra 25 pounds remark sort of confirmed that.
Being known as the needle mover, the ticket seller, and the star among stars - has always held a certain level of prestige. Up until this point, that very title has vacillated from fighter to fighter. And while the likes of Anthony Joshua, Deontay Wilder, and most notably, Canelo Alvarez, have all been viewed as the head honcho, Gervonta Davis firmly believes that he's usurped them all as the man around town.

Makes sense. Boxing is in the gutter right now.
I was blaming Fury for this but after knowing the details of Usyk demanding 70/30 if he won for the rematch I realize they are actually mostly to blame.
The fact is Usyk got roughly 25/75 fighting Joshua the first time. In the rematch as the champ he got 50/50, so how the hell is he going to demand 70/30 over Fury in a rematch when Fury is an even bigger draw than Joshua?
After beating Fury and becoming undisputed, you think Fury would be the bigger draw. Don't make laugh
Usyk is the one who walked away from negotiations and still hasn’t got a fight lined up he’s the one who said rematch or no fight don’t let that ruin the narrative circlejerk though.
Sure but he agreed to the 70:30 split which is a far bigger concession. The rematch clause wasn't and shouldn't have been a deal breaker.
I have read from two different sources that Usyk asked for 70/30 in the rematch. No mention of if he won. Then Fury came back and said no rematch, then said ok and asked for 50/50, a fair split as Usyk is not a huge draw, not a huge puncher as HW and Fury is the draw regardless if Usyk won a UD or not. So really, trying to negotiage the terms of the rematch before the first fight happens, is a bit ridiculous, and IMO, a sign that Usyk was hesitant. I then watched Warren read direct messages on a podcast where Usyk's manager said clearly, Usyk has gone to Ukraine, he is done talking, and that is was not Fury or Warren's fault.
The next day, Usyk's team launched a "this is Fury ducking" mass media campaign, a telltale sign that it was Usyk's fault. Which has fooled people like you, and as many people dislike Fury already, Usyk knew what he was doing with media blitz.
Trust me, I'm not being dumb. You have fallen for a bunch of bs. Both guys k ow that the Saudis are offering huge money in November, that is why the fight isn't happening. Fury is keeping the drama going by talking about a summer unification fight. You have to be smart enough to see what is actually happening.
Wait you think that 50:50 in a rematch is fair? Usyk would be undisputed and Fury would be the contender, and he should get half the money? Give me some of what you're on.
tsyu was healing and couldn't make it to the LA card. whats the problem?
turki seems like an egomaniac. hall of fame stuff is a joke
He is but I'm not surprised. He obviously rarely hears the word "No" and is lashing out like any spoiled brat does.
Same people saying bud shouldn’t fight boots same people that giving canelo a pass lol
He's moved up to 154 now and wants big fights / big money. Boots offers neither.
He should be dropping the belts though.
he's just saying that because he wants a shot at canelo himself!!!
It's still true though whether that's the reason or not.
I want to see Benavidez / Canelo and I want to see what Crawford can do at 154 first, against both Charlo and Tszyu, before taking on such a ludicrous weight jump.
