It's a fight that I personally want to see, but Canelo isn't lying. Benavidez brings nothing to the table. It's the same money he gets for fighting nearly everyone else. Actually he is lying. Canelo also gets back end PPV money and the Benavidez ppv would be significantly bigger than the Mungia fight despite people now trying to pump up this anonymous mexican who is not well known in the US. Also what happened to giving the fans the biggest and best fights? That is what Canelo said in his own words was his goal. That is also what Benavidez brings. Plus beating a young highly rated lion would add to his legacy. He actually brings a lot to Canelo, more than anyone he will fight the rest of his career.
