What about finding out how strong your chin is. I once got kicked with full force on one side of my face while I was down while playing soccer and it hardly fazed me. I think I may have one of those toughman chins.
yeap, but don't sleep on my boy "El Indio" Quintana... :boxing:
Being that Quintana is a southpaw with pop no one should be sleeping on him but if you were to bet your life savings who would you put it on?
Ive never seen him but Im actually feeling stupid enough to bet money against him and for a KO. Will Julio kill him?
If you are going to bet on anyone I think Julio is the wiser pick.
I really don't want to see anymore posts from you so I will put the ignore on whenever you are on. You spew nothing but crap.
Wow. If you don't agree with me that's fine but you act like a little baby. I guess you only like to interact with those that agree with you right?

You act like thats the only fight out there for him. He might move up to 154 and fight the winner of Vargas/Mosley which alot of people think would be a harder fight
Lets say Vargas wins, what does Mayweather then do? Can Mosley bring Mayweather 8 million? I doubt it. If Margarito is such an easy opponent why not collect the 8 mil and get rid of him for good?
Here's how I see it going down. If Vargas wins Mayweather will then wait to see if Baldomir wins. If neither Baldomir or Mosley win he is going to be in one hell of a dilemma.
Well, Wow, i'm sick of people saying Winky's complains to much, he has every right to complain about the decision.. an overwhelming majority agrees with him and just because you don't agree with him, you call him a whiner.. get a life.
He is a whiner. Have you heard his BT interview? For someone who gave away the last rounds against Vargas and lost as a consequence to then throw away the last round of a fight where his trainer told him he had to win it and then complain afterwards is whining to me. After the verdict was read he ran from the ring and whined about the decision in his dressing room. That is the behaviour of a petulant whining little child.
He has no one to blame but himself. The fight was really close and that is why it ended as a DRAW. Winky didn't win but he didn't lose either. Maybe next time he will fight for the full 12 rounds and not 11.
Larios' problem is he gets hit way too much and against Pacquiao that is suicide. I don't see how he will make it to the final bell. Pacquiao will eventually wear him down and stop him. I would be surprised if this fight goes more than 8 rounds.
On that legendary night in Zaire, the noble ring artist formerly known as Cassius Clay came back from beyond the self-imposed exile of his conscientious refusal to fight in Vietnam to knock out Foreman, the most fearsome pugilist of his younger generation.
The person who wrote this piece lost me after the above quote. Ali was never in self-imposed exile. He didn't fight between April 1967 to October 1970 because of his refusal to get drafted to Vietnam and thus had to wait until his case was litigated. When he did resume fighting again he had 17 fights and 4 years leading up to the Foreman fight.
Exactly he quit in the fight with pac...why didnt he look right? Someone jumped on him and punched him in the face a ton and after the third round Barerra had given up and was purely taking a beating.
Maybe, just maybe if Barrios can overwhelm MAB he will do the same thing.
Who looks right when they get their ass kicked?
Come on you know what I meant. Everyone knows that Barrera's camp was cut short because of the forest fire at Big Bear.
Barrera has been in brawls with McKinney and Morales and he never quit. Are you going to tell me that fighters never have an off night or might not be 100% for a fight?
If Barrera had quit a few times previous to the Pacquiao fight then I would agree with you but since it is not a pattern that we have seen with him then I must give him the benefit of the doubt that something just wasn't right with him on that night.
I don't think any of those guys deserve to be on that list. The one guy who is truly soft is Hector Camacho Jr. Anytime he faces some adversity he looks for a way out.
No doubt he has heart but Barrera is going to break him down slowly. Barrios is a sloppy fighter and Barrera will capitalize on every mistake he makes.
Some of you people are plain out sexists. Why shouldn't women also be allowed to box at the Olympics if they want? I in no way would want my daughter to box but the option should be available to whomever wants to do so.
Saying that women's boxing shouldn't be allowed because it doesn't measure up to men's standards is asinine. What sport do you know of where women compare favourably to the men?
Women can't even compete with men at Golf which I don't consider a sport but they still can do it.
Just imagine how disappointed all the female boxers out there who train dilligently and were hoping to be able to go to the Olympics and represent their countries must feel.
If boxing wants to grow back in popularity you can not alienate half of the human race from it.
I would rather see womens boxing at the Olympics than all those equestrian sports.
The Olympic committee that came to this decision should be ashamed of itself for it's sexist attitude. Besides everyone knows how extremely safe and careful amatuer boxing is.
LET THE WOMEN BOX!
i been trying to get on boxingtalk.net for days and I cant anyone know why???
I think they are upgrading the site and boards. I know it's been down since sometime after Wednesday afternoon.
Who do you post as at BT?
This move just confirmed Rahman is not the sharpest tool in the shed. What an idiot. You can always sign up with Don King. He should have waited until his fight with Vitali ended. If beats Vitali he wouldn't need King thereafter. If he loses to Vitali then he might have considered signing with King only after a new lawyer without any conncetions to the fight game went tooth and nail through the contract.
I think this is going to be a real let down after all the hype leading up to the fight.I wouldn't be surprised if people start walking out by the 8th round the way they did in the Mayweather-Baldomir fight. Floyd will win but he is going to get booed mercilessly in the process. Then in the post fight press conference he will cry again and say how no one appreciates his talent and that this was his last fight and he is retiring for good. Same routine all over again.
