Just in case you're wondering why the video is in Japanese, Larios has been training in Japan for several weeks now because there are better sparring partners and he wouldn't have to adjust to Philippine time.
Larios' problem is he gets hit way too much and against Pacquiao that is suicide. I don't see how he will make it to the final bell. Pacquiao will eventually wear him down and stop him. I would be surprised if this fight goes more than 8 rounds.
larios has the perfect style to defeat pacquiao
LOL, I guess for you, Pacquiao is taylor-made for every Mexican fighter
You said that Juarez and Morales has the perfect style to defeat Pacquiao. Now, Larios? Who's next, Jorge Arce? Is Pacquiao taylor-made for Jhonny Gonzales too?
I agree with most of the other posters that you are the most biased person on this board(worse that Manny_P in fact) :D
Larios is a just another practice target on Pac's new weapon... the quick right hook and the uppercut...
pacquiao is in for a surprise as he loses a decision to larios
Awesome! Thanks for the video man. Man Larios looks damn confident and his sparring looks good. Looks like he's really throwing those shots with abit more weight into them. He's definitely is looking to get Manny into the later rounds as he's stated where he could try to take over the fight. It will be interesting to see if Manny jumps on him early and doesn't stop at trying to get the KO or plays around with Larios thinking he has it in the bag and let's Larios go into the later rounds. It's going to be a great fight I think because Larios isn't a pushover and he's definitely confident that he's gonna win this.
larios said he may go straight at pacquiao so pacquiao understands that hes here to win and he's no push over as many think he is, i see larios getting an upset. larios has the perfect style to defeat pacquiao

In his interview on Pinoy TV, Larios said that he's way more popular in Japan than in Mexico.
I saw that interview as well. I feel bad for Larios. Not sure if it's true but Larios pointed out that if your last name is not Chavez, Morales or Barrera, or if you're not a soccer player, they won't pay much attention to you in Mexico, even if you're a world-class athlete.
A lot of fighters, not just boxers are more popular in Japan than in their native countries. A lot of Brazilian and American MMA fighters are treated like gods by the Japanese, and they get paid a lot more too.
UFC pay their fighters shyt, compared to Pride.
damn, kind of messed up but at the same time its good to hear he has a fan base in Japan. Japanese, Asian fighters are tough fighters too, they have a long tradition in the lighter weights for being very tough too.
i still remember seeing paulie ayalas first title shot against an asian i forget from which country, it was one hell of a war, ayala lost but they going toe to toe. i know i've been told from older boxing fans that in the lighter weight mexicans and asians always went to war when they fought, that is was like a rivary back in the day, im assuming its still like that.
is pacquiao already training in the phillipens or is he still training in america?
oh yeah, he was there a week ago.
You need at least 2 weeks to get off the jetlag.
I heard he's preparing for his public workout
and he's gonna perform one of his songs for the crowd. :o
I'm telling you bro, alot of distractions goin on ever there.
I won't be surprized if Larios beats PAC.....................NOT! :D

man this is the toughtest sparring i've seen from any pro fighter, im surprised they allowed this sparring to be shown on tv. larios is defently sparring tough sparring partners, now way will pacquiao ko larios, and i see an upset, larios by unanamoious decsion.
that japanesse fool he was sparring was tough, whats his name, and what were the anaylist saying about the fight? what type of chance do they give to larios? You can tell by the interview that Larios feels mexico already let him down by not supporting him that even didn't even give a shout out to mexico, i don't know how popular he is in mexico but im assuming he has a good fan base himself.

Thanks Sucka
Well,at least Larios is trying, pretty good interview.
Anybody know if the guy he was sparring is a known fighter?
I read that Larios has been sparring with topnotch Japanese southpaw fighters who are current or former world champions.
The only downside to this is that all his sparring partners are smaller than Pacquiao(although much quicker). There really is no preparation on how to deal with Pac's power so I think Larios is focusing on how to deal with Pac's speed instead.
