The crowd.
You know the one.
The haughty-taughty crowd that just sit there and watch without cheering.
The tickets were ultra-expensive and alot of people go just to be seen there and say that they were there. The same fans that went to Hopkins/De La Hoya and sat there without making a peep.
Nothing like the Morales/Pacquaio crowd who intensified the fight because of how passionate they were for boxing and their fighters.
Granted Morales/Pacquaio and Hopkins/De La Hoya were TOTALLY different fights, I understand this. But the Hopkins/De La Hoya crowd sat silent even during the walk-ins.
Just my opinion.
are u kidding?
The crowds at these events are usually awsome.
They wait and wait and wait and wait and wait until the fight, they are usually JUICED by the time it starts.
You saw TYSON-HOLYFIELD II, or OSCAR-TRINIDAD? For the first 5 or 6 rounds in each fight (except T-H II obviously) the crowd was reacting on every little thing.
Once the crowd realized Oscar-Trinidad was becoming a really boring fight, and Tsyon-Holyfield was becoming a laughing stock and a disgrace, they started to get out of the fight
Almost all the celebrities that are going to be there are fake and probably never watch boxing, except when it comes to a big fight such as this. They're not fans, fans watch shobox, friday night fights, fans watch up-and-comming boxers.
Exactly, and unfortunately they are the ones who get the front rows.
It's annoying to see those celebrities who wouldn't even care about the fight except for the fact that it's an event fight and therefore they can say they were there.

Your right you know you will see those celebs in the crowd that are not really boxing fans, but they are their because it's an event so they can be seen. I hope the crowd is hyped. It seems when the atmosphere in the arena is exciting the fight usually turns out to be good.
as long as theres no hecklers like from Quartey.Winky I'll be happy. "Bazoooooka"...fuck...lol
That might have been someone from Winky's camp, because in the Winky v Taylor fight, the same guy kept yelling "Taaaaaloooor" it was messed up.
I think this is going to be a real let down after all the hype leading up to the fight.I wouldn't be surprised if people start walking out by the 8th round the way they did in the Mayweather-Baldomir fight. Floyd will win but he is going to get booed mercilessly in the process. Then in the post fight press conference he will cry again and say how no one appreciates his talent and that this was his last fight and he is retiring for good. Same routine all over again.
