From a marketing standpoint and fighting a guy he should beat easily, it's Berlanga who probably already knows he's got the fight.
They can do the whole Mexico vs Puerto Rico angle, although Berlanga is not exactly Miguel Cotto level. He's entertaining, he can punch, so he'd be game, that's...

My heart truly goes out to Cody and family.
He's been through some hell on earth for sure, with what happened to his dad and other things.
Love and respect to him, and he also signed to fight a guy that very few guys are willing to step in the ring with.
Ennis...

I hope Jermall's troubles end soon and that his health is at it's best.
He can still be a force and big player at super middleweight. Munguia and him and a grudge match with Plant could be cool.
But for now, he shouldn't worry about boxing, there are more important things...

Sorry Bob, I think Terence is mainly working with Turki now. All about the money now, mainly anyway.
He's a great boxer, although not a big box office star. He's right to cash in on the success from the Spence fight, for which he was well remunerated for.
Be sure, he'd fight...Last edited by Liondw; 05-08-2024, 09:29 AM.BlackRobb likes this.

Crawford is a highly skilled boxer, more skilled than Canelo, head to head.
But if he does fight Canelo, well, that power is different up there. Bud was rocked by 'mean machine', if I recall correctly.
Crawford could probably win middleweight titles without too much difficulty...pnut901 likes this.

How about rather a rematch with Mayweather, whether call it an exhibition or sanctioned, rather than a Conor Benn fight.
The Benn one is better than McGregor, but yes, he'd like one more fight before officially retiring.
At his age it's tough, our bodies get new aches and pains...

Canelo would certainly beat Benavidez if they signed to fight a few months after the latter's fight with Gvozydyk.
If he beat Gvozydyk, he'd have just the rest of June to rest, then have to train again. It would not make a difference if he knocked out Gvozydyk inside a few rounds.

Inoue is a really great fighter. Not perfect, but he's pretty special.Boricua181 likes this.

It's not crazy hours, it's nice time of the day to watch boxing.
Try being one of us in South Africa, or Europe, and we always got up and were watching boxing from America, and it was 3am to 7am our time. That's what we sacrificed, to watch the big fights.

It does seem kind of strange or stupid, if a fighter doped, whilst willingly signed up for Vada testing.landotter likes this.

I think, besides Bivol vs Beterbiev, a Bivol vs Benavidez matchup would be fascinating.
I don't think much of the supposed good match between Benavidez and Gvozydyk....
