Such is the Boxing Hall of Fame. No, Wilder should not get in. His resume is losses to his best competition and his wins are propped up by Luis Ortiz of all people. But you would probably win more money betting he does get in than he won't....

Bivol and Beterbiev will both get in. Their resumes are fine for this era, they split a very competitive series and each had undisputed, Beterbiev had that amazing KO streak and Bivol beat Canelo going away.
Oh... and the Boxing Hall of Fame requires fighters get in every year as opposed...

I mean... sure. Why not at this point? It will be a fine undercard addition to another fight. Not like the IBF is making things up as they go or anything....

You know, you would think in this day and age of streaming services fighting for content, starting a boxing promotion from the ground up would be easier than back in the 80's, 90's or the early part of the Century when media was a ton more narrow. But it sure seems like it is the opposite.

As a kid, Leonard was what drew me to boxing. I didn't even know "Sugar" was not his and his alone. I must have been early teens before someone educated me on Sugar Ray Robinson.
To which I brilliantly followed up with the question "Does Sugar Ray Leonard know about this...

Man, people can forget what a rock star- and warrior- De La Hoya was because of disliking him now. But he was huge at this time. I knew of Mosley, but I did not follow boxing as close so I was jaw dropping surprised by the Mosley win. I truly felt no one moving up in divisions would be able to outwork...

As a fan of Munguia.... I am very, very bummed. But He failed, and I hope the suspension is lengthy and the verdict moved to a no-contest. Even if he can prove some sort of incidental contamination (and I have zero idea how you can "prove" that), this is a combat sport and drugs have to...
