  • Comments Thread For: One Punch From Nery Keeps Crawford in the P4P Debate

By the time Terence Crawford steps into the ring to face Israil Madrimov in a Los Angeles soccer stadium on Aug. 3, he will have been inactive for 371 days. That's one year, plus a leap day, plus five ordinary days. That's 53 weeks.

Crawford got dropped by Kavaliauskas and proceeded to brutally punish him until a stoppage. So let's not use this KD by Nery as a marginal difference in favor of Bud.

It just comes down to personal preference, canelo certainly has a stake in this, I like Crawford; but he has limitations in terms of global reach, Inoue will bring lots more boxing fans to the sport.

      Inoue p4p#1!

Why does all these articles keep acting like crawford has never been dropped? That’s just not true kalvauskis dropped him. That said he still above inoue p4p. Top 2. Id lean canelo cause he’s won’t titles in higher weights but kits very very close

Canelo is the Face and the better Resume
Inueo the most active Undisputed Champ
            Crawford probably the most skilled
Usyk belongs up there if he beats Fury

            Gervonta is a joke

Let's see how Bud reacts if he gets dropped by Madrimov.

This getting dropped being used to separate greatness is asinine. Ali got dropped. Hearns got dropped. Both are ATGs. - and what are we even measuring? Their resistance to punches plus their defensive prowess? But what if you favour attacking prowess and excitement?

Crawford number one PFP in the world?........Not for me, Inoue who has had twice as many fights as Crawford since the back-end of 2019, and has titles at four weights takes it for me.
As for the first round knockdown, so what? Marciano and Calzaghe hit the canvas on more than one occasion and still retired UNDEFEATED.
Ali, Hearns, Joe Louis, Duran, Leonard, Hagler, ect, hit the deck, does that make them poor champions?
Inoue was in full command of his senses when he hit the deck, and did what a SMART champion does, instead of acting all macho he took a little breather before rising.

"Buuuuuut … Bud Crawford has never made a mistake that big or paid a price that significant."

Got dropped by mean machine, and looked like Bambi on ice against a tiny gamboa. Are you planning on editing the article,or are you going to stay looking like a casual?

Dud Bumford was badly wobbled by a much smaller Gamboa and he was dropped by EuroBum Kavaliauskas, but was missed by the ref.

American media gotta get off Dud's nuts.
