you sir are clearly able to see through the groupie logic of canelo fans. They’re so transparent. They talk up anyone Canelo faces and ignore major details such as his opponents age (canelo has built his career on facing primarily 35 and older comp), canelo giving short notice for fights (as he’s doing here and did to kovalev), his consistent use of catch weights or rehydration clauses in order to put his opponent at a disadvantage, canelo benefiting from bad scorecards more than any boxer I can think of, etc. I’ll admit, on paper Canelos resume looks great, in reality, his career has been full of shrewd business decisions. That's because like you and Al Broker (who you also gave 'kudos' to) he's one of the biggest Canelo groupies on here. He only made comments giving Smith credit to try and make Canelo's future win look better, pathetic stuff really, he knows Smith won't make it a war or come close but pretends otherwise
Cong**** on your sad circle jerk of Canelo love green K compliments

Smith does not use his reach and height effectively and his speed is average.
They went with another popular fighter for the easy UK money.Comment

That said he made Daniel Jacobs run like a bytch.you sir are clearly able to see through the groupie logic of canelo fans. They’re so transparent. Alvarez will destroy Smith within 8 rounds. Smith has done nothing in boxing. He's a decent fighter but not on Canelo's level. Canelo has a rock solid chin. We all know what happens when big punchers go in with someone who can take their punches. Canelo is levels above Smith. It's just obvious.Comment

not sure what that has to do with anything but.... canelo wasn’t exactly an offensive juggernaut himself that night. They both were passive and defensive. Canelo barely did better vs Jacobs than Rosado did last week.Comment

Consensus of who? the general consensus of Smith is he clearly just lost to John Ryder & while im a big fan of Ryder, he is neither world level nor a SMW. hes a blown up MW. and he battered Smith around the ring.
Please tell me about the resume of Smith. ONE good win in his entire resume agaisnt a shot to bits Groves.
but hes undefeated on paper doe! hes big doe!
this is the Canelo MO, switch between the divisions looking for the weakest champion & the path of least resistence, and he STILL needs every single advantage agaisnt them. paid off officials and judges, check. PEDS. check. diva weight antics. check. giving the shortest amount of time for opponents to train for the fight while hes already known the date of his fight. check.
Oh and dont forget his opponent must be way past prime and/or looked crap in their last fight(s) until Canelo fights them.
If you wanna talk about Cherrypicking, then yea Canelo is the biggest cherrypicker in the entire sport.Comment

I doubt he was having a TRAINING CAMP since Plant thought he was getting the fight a week before. There's a huge difference in being in shape, and being in fight shape. Madrimov/Walker is great proof of that. Madrimov took the fight on short notice because he felt he had stayed in shape during the lockdown, but he didn't have a camp, and he wasn't in FIGHT SHAPE. Gassed out big time by round 7.Comment

I'm looking at Smith's resume right now. What are the great names that jump out at you? N'Dam? Fielding? Or the ghost of George Groves?Comment
