Is Eddie Hearn overrated as a promoter?

You're a clown. In-house fights and nepotism when it comes to employing competent people to help you run your company are two different things.
What has dumb far Frank Smith (the president of Matchroom) and the other useless guy in-charge of matchmaking at Matchroom got to do with in-house fights?
Some of you clowns have got your heads up in Hearn's arse, you can't differentiate between your left and right hand. And it's the same with Wilder, Fury and Mike Tyson fans. Pathetic!Comment

Joshua has made a lot of money with Eddie Hearn. The guy that "nearly died against that fat Mexican bum" has been branded as the next great HW, and got sponsorship and endorsement deals accordingly.
You need to understand, Eddie Hearn is a promotor, not a trainer. His job isn't to make Anthony Joshua a good fighter, his job is to make him rich. And on that account, I say Eddie does a damn good job.Comment

No, he made Hearn rich. I could've promoted Josh and he'd be as rich as he's.Joshua has made a lot of money with Eddie Hearn. The guy that "nearly died against that fat Mexican bum" has been branded as the next great HW, and got sponsorship and endorsement deals accordingly.

Also, Hearn didn't get him those sponsorship deals - he earned them because of his hype. And a couple of the big ones he has came from Wlad's recommendation when he retired.
AJ was quite popular before the Olympics and he was Ryan Garcia before Ryan Garcia. The only difference is that he's a better boxer with a better amateur pedigree.Comment

Go promote someone then. Get back at me when he's worth $100kNo, he made Hearn rich. I could've promoted Josh and he'd be as rich as he's.

Get Edward's lil willy out of yer mouth, he's a married man.
It's obvious you don't understand how boxing works - you just saw a spoilt ***ish Essex boy with a big mouth spending daddy's money that got famous because the hope of British boxing who's extremely popular with the females fell on his lap.
Women makeup about 40% of AJ fans and a large portion of his fans are men in their 50s-80s and kids from middleclass backgrounds who don't watch IFL TV and don't give half a fu..ck about following boxing. I guess Hearn was the one who introduced him to those demographics. Hilarious.Comment
