So what? Leon Spinks became heavyweight champ with 8 fights, Lomachencko with 2 or whatever it was.
It's not like Brock Lesnar walked off the street and became champ
Exactly. Its MIXED martial arts, and wrestling is widely considered to be the single most important aspect of it. So yes, a genetic freak with a 106-5 record in the single most important aspect of MMA, who was juiced to the gills and fast tracked due to his name, managed to learn decent sub defence and how to pound someones head through the ****ing canvas, and won the UFC title.
The people that talk **** about this either dont realize Brock was anything other than a WWE wrestler, or dont understand how wrestling transfers to MMA.
ufc be boring and shiiet too sometimes.. UFC does have better match ups but sometimes the BIG fights dont usually live up to the hype compare to boxing minus the floyd/pac fight..
On top of that we don't see proper fights any more.
I'm in it for maximum violence. Boxing doesn't deliver that very often.
Fighters die in boxing, the violence in boxing is very different level in boxing than ufc.
it just doesn't look that bad, but the actual damage done is different thing.

Agreed, but its not exactly a point in favor of boxing is it? MMA has the blood, the crazy knockouts etc while actually being overall safer. Boxing looks relatively tame but has people dying.

Leon Spink's was a Olympic Gold Medalist, Brock Lensar was a WWE wrestler prior to entering into the UFC 'Brock Lensar did not even reach Olympic status as a wrestler'.
Lomachenko had a substantial amateur boxing career, before entertaining into the professional ranks 'Twice a Olympic Gold Medalist, and Multiple World/European Gold medals' etc
You cannot just wade into boxing, Conor Mcgregor attempted it? And was bullied by a fighter who he out weighed by almost 20 pounds 'A fighter who was also coming out of retirement to fight him'.
I feel you on that. I’ve always like a good UFC fight. Imo there matchups are way entertaining more often than not. I’m no diehard but I’m a little more than casual.
Boxing is my ultimate combat love since I was a teenager. But these last 15 years good matchup are happening less often than before. With the UFC you get great entertaining matchups after great entertaining matchups.
Brock Lesnar became their HW champion in his 3rd fight lol
Not surprising... he was the 2000 National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division HW Champion and was already top level legit. He is also a monster.
