well i think you are forgetting the context as well. mosley only got the pac fight after leaving golden boy. that was the way it worked for the most part. if you wanted floyd you had to go to golden boy, if you wanted pac you had to go to top rank. there was so much money in those guys fights that they weren't willing to split it.

your timeline is way off. he waited marg out? marg lost 10 months before pac even fought cotto which was his first real ww test. waiting out implies somethin nefarious like what floyd did. they just were never at their best at the same time in the same division like when floyd and marg were the top 2 or floyd and cotto etc...and paul williams? williams had left the division a long time before that so that doesnt make much sense.

however i disagree about the performance manny vs shane.. manny was able to get leather on shane whenever he wanted imo, shane realized early he couldnt trade with manny, the speed was overwhelming. from there on he fought timid and i believe manny carries shane in that fight

in hindsight, i cant stand mannys "Compassion" bull**** . in big time prize fights, its flat out foolish to let anyone hang around period. its disrespectful to boxing fans
      yeah but mosley dropped pac!

Lmao, i forgot about that ****. that pissed manny off and shane **** his pants, and tried to tap gloves with manny a few extra times to make him relax again lol.

Shanes one of my all time favorites(look my username) but no fighter and i mean nobody made shane look literally frightened other then, a prime beast PACMAN. Mannys speed, power, and balance shellshocked a shane who been in there with many many HOF fighters

also pac was #1 at welter not mosley. check the rankings. and p4p lists are for comedy purposes. did you think a 39 year old mosely was the third best fighter on the planet based on one good night? what about all his other fights for the last almost ten years?

Pac ducked that version of Mosley TWICE !!

so yea, that was a very good win

that was a very good win
It don't matter if people say Floyd was ducking ssm, it don't make it a great win. People accuse Floyd of ducking everyone as he hardly fought. People said he was ducking khan, but if Floyd beat Khan doesn't make it a great win.
It weren't a great win and especially so in hindsight. The real SSM didn't turn up.
Pac was underdog against dlh and was supposed to beat pac. Dlh was made to look like he was treading quicksand. The argument is that wasn't dlh on fight night? Same applies to Floyd s win over ssm.
Dlh said Pac was the best he fought, not floyd

The popular rhetoric is that the rematch was a robbery - which is complete nonsense. Was Mosley juiced? Probably. But the decision was not a robbery.

lineal title, win over a hall of famer coming of arguably the biggest win of his career.....I'd say about a 9 and out 10....took a point because of Mosleys age and the lay off he had with the Berto fight falling through
