How good of a win was beating Mosely for Floyd?

Most people seem to dismiss the fight as Mosely being washed up, and Floyd certainly made him look that way.....
but Mosely was coming off the biggest win of his career, against one of the most feared Welters who everyone was saying Floyd was ducking.

Also, Mosely was still good enough to go on and be an opponent for Pac after Floyd was done with him.

My only hesitation here is that there was a bit of a lay off for Mosely following his destruction of Margarito.

But I still feel this was a great win that Floyd gets very little credit for

Mosley was the reigning lineal champ. That's a great win, period.

beating margarito isn’t bigger than beating De La Hoya twice

No, but he also shouldn't have beaten DLH twice.

I just remember Mosely coming up with excuses about his tooth being loose and other stuff when Ledderman asked him about fighting Floyd before Floyd fought Oscar.

It was okay/good, but not great. Mosley was P4P #3 for however much that means, but he did he have a small period of inactivity before Floyd got to him.

It’s a great win because Mosley was still a great fighter. But prime Shane Mosley was 10 years before that fight happened.

One of his best. Mosely looked great against Margarito before that. It was a dangerous fight. Noone could've predicted Mosely would get old overnight.

Shane was still serviceable, but CLEARLY on the downside. Before Floyd got to him, Forest cracked his chin (damn that was a vicious uppercut- right hand sequence), and beat him in the rematch - Got a gift in the ODLH rematch, and lost back to backs against Winky. Vargas was a shell when Shane beat him, and Margs, well we all know about that night. Floyd shook off those two right hands, and straight up dominated a shopworn Shane.
Great performance by Floyd, but not even close to one of his greatest wins.
