Put him in with Willie Monroe two years ago and it’s the same fight outcome. Supposedly he was post prime when he walked through Vanes.

As far as GGG vs Canelo #1, is that the fight that happened in your head bro? First fight was a DRAW. Why is it every one else has to accept the actual fight results but you guys can float personal cards around as law?

A lot of people said Jacob and Derevychenko beat GGG, are we honoring those personal cards too? Look it up bro it was a draw. In the second fight Canelo won the record has spoken forever.

But once again Sensitive Beta Males Incorporated, isn’t it all moot as I didn’t say GGG was not a “good,” fighter. I said he was not the “Alltime Great/ Top 25 P4P Fighter in the past 25 years beast HBO and ESPN claimed him to be.

Where is the evidence of that claim? Canelo is more accomplished than GGG and they didn’t even have him on that Top 25 list.

As far as all time great, let’s just look at Middleweight. How many of these guys does GGG beat in his and their prime:

    - James Toney
    - Jack Dempsey
    - Roy Jones Jr
    - Mike McCallum
    - Charley Burley
    - Gene Fulmer
    - Marvin Hagler
    - Tony Zale
    - Roberto Duran
    - Jake Lamotta
    - Emile Griffith
    - **** Tiger
    - Bernard Hopkins
    - Bobby Fitzsimmons
    - Harry Greb
    - Sugar Ray Robinson
    - Carlos Monzon
    - Winky Right
    - Stan Ketchel
    - Tommy Hearns
    - Oscar Delahoya
    - Ezzard Charles
    - Saul Canelo Alvarez
    - Felix Trinidad
    - Carmen Basilio
    - Sugar Ray Leonard
    - Iran Barkley
    - Kelly Pavelik
    - Jermaine Taylor
    - Arthur Abraham

We could go on and on... Considering GGG fell apart with anyone with a chin, some pop and legit boxing skills, why would we believe he could even be considered an all time great at Middleweight let alone a best P4P fighter going back to 1990?

You guys must be on meth. Stop bothering me with this nonsense. Stay Corona free and safe despite our disagreements.
Most of those fighters you listed lost to worse fighters than Gennady Golovkin in their primes.

This is why Canelo wouldn’t take the trilogy unless DAZN ponied up more money. He had DAZN by the balls. Only reason they gave BBB side so much $$$ was the promise of a Canelo fight. Wit bought that they are losing a ton on BBB sides contract.
He KO’s him haters will say BBB side was a shot fighter and old. He gets a decision they will cry robbery.

Lol...Who Ring Magazine owned GoldenBoy Promotions his promoter? Imagine that?

Besides - Didn’t know beating a washed guy who lost 2 of his last 6 fights by brutal KO was what was needed to put Canelo over the top. imagine if he fought Rock Fielding again, he would be better than Sugar Ray Robinson? Looked like Kovalev took a dive anyway.
        .

Also consider that he didnt get any real fights until his mid 30s so why are you comparing him to those who did? So wait because his handlers moved him slowly I have to make him an All-time Great? So if it isn’t the fights and the competition what is the criteria you suggest I use? Even when he fought the old guard in Kassim Ouma he didn’t look that great. What’s worst is Kassim was clearly past it and not even the top Middleweight of his Era. Not even close bro.

And as for you ****** argument that he didnt demolish good competition...lmfao. Hardly ANYONE demolishes competition at the highest level and if they did then they would be worth of ATG. So you agree idiot he is not an All time great. Hagler demolished the comp. So did Roy Jones, Bernard Hopkins and Roberto Duran. In addition they were fighting much better competition than the guys at the top of GGG’s resume. Shut up clown.

Did Canelo demolish not top 25 all time bum GGG? Did Canelo demolish Jacob's? Nope and nope. Lol You are an idiot...He beat GGG and he actually beat Jacobs in a win that wasn’t even debatable.

Yet Canelo is not ranked by ESPN as a top P4P fighter in the past 25 years. So once again I agree Canelo is better why do you agree with ESPN?
        .

You also want to claim that personal cards dont matter right? You must be like all the other true casuals who didnt score the fight but still have an opinion right? Or you sporting that tin foil hat claiming that the media was on GGGs side and fake news?Maybe foil hats are popular wher you live but not only did I score the fight, I heard them announce the cards. It was a Draw. Prove me wrong.

Well news for you man, an overwhelming majority had GGG winning the first fight EASY. The 2nd fight? Most people also had GGG winning but this time by a slimmer margin. Lol bro so much bias in this I don’t need to address it. Check Boxing record you tell me who won? So dumb...

How many of those same people had Canelo winning? None. More people agreed that the 2nd fight should have been a draw than Canelo winning.
A lot...more in the second fight than the first one.

Any boxing fan who isnt a fangirl who watched those fights witnessed GGG get robbed blind twice.
Yeah bro you sound bitter and angry. Not sure what to tell you write a letter to the commission.

Compare that to the people who thought Jacob's or Derevychanko beat GGG. It's FAR less.

        I scored

        GGG/Canelo 1 8-4
        GGG/Canelo 2 7-5
        GGG/Jacob's 7-5 +KD
        GGG/Derevychanko 6-6 +KD

Weird how the world seems to agree with me but someone like me with my personal cards are still wrong
LMAO... that’s quite the airtight case you have there.

Alright bro nice to meet you. My counseling hours are over.

Problem is there is nothing in his early years to point to greater All-time great capability. Especially since his weakness was boxing technique.

If he was better his handlers should have moved him faster/ differently. He was an Olympic Gold Medalist what were the waiting on?

Possibly, he struggled with not so prime Ouma. Could be a few other fights he wins prime. He had real pressure and styles make fights.

Had nothing to do with age, it was his competition. He was good l, just not the “top 25,” all time great Middleweight Lampley and company attempted to create.
                  whoop there it is

very good fighter the media tried to make out to be an ATG

                    Let's flip that around.

Why did the second fight happen a year later instead of 6 months later?

Because when they tried to force the issue, Carnelo told WBC to kick rocks, he'd do his own thing.

                    Sulaiman bowed down.

Carnelo switched back, got the W.

You can't deny any of this.

Now, let's adjust the question - to address what Teddy Atlas is trying to say (why didn't the THIRD fight happen sooner)?

Because Carnelo went off and took three belts off top tier opposition in three different weight classes.

Golovkin, meanwhile, took a RAZOR thin victory over Dereyvanchenko to get two belts - belts Carnelo had vacated and is likely to get back again.

But let's put this in perspective.

Carnelo beat Golovkin in 2018, Golovkin has not lost since, Carnelo has not lost since. So age is not an excuse.

Bottom line: it's not Carnelo's fault he's still young and skilled.

That's all that matters here. Atlas is FOS.

Canelo has at least provided value for what DAZN is paying him.

Golovkin's contract has to be one of the worst deals in boxing history based on what DAZN has gotten back for that investment.
