Wilder was not competitive except the first round, and even that was shaky. Then got a towel thrown on him.

Joshua never talked significant smack about how Ruiz "ain't gon get up this time".

Joshua avenged his loss. Wilder escaped with a questionable draw and then got absolutely destroyed by an overweight gypsy in the rematch. He had ZERO answer for what was coming his way.

    That's the problem, I think.
To a lesser extent thats like GGG plummeting after his draw/loss to Canelo.

Wilder lost in dominating fashion but it was vs a top 3 heavyweight.

    Those rankings trash

Why is it so hard to believe?

The orgs still rank Crawford high despite beating nobody of note.

Broner stays in the Top 10 despite having numerous recent losses and a draw.

He hasn't plumetted out of any ranking. The WBC website still lists Fury at #1 so they haven't updated their rankings yet only their listing of champions. Once the rankings are updated, Wilder will be the #1 WBC contender at HW.

The WBC excluded Joshua once he was contracted to fight a rematch against another org's champion. I think that's the normal process.

Regardless, this has nothing to do with how the other orgs rank Wilder. And the WBC position is while he is on a medical suspension.

TBRB, Ring, so on, their rankings already have threads....people have already given Wilder **** for Ring putting him under Dilly. There is no thread about his official ranking though.
Whatever you are pointing out - and I think it's unclear- but whatever it is you're saying, one thing is clear: the public and the governing bodies have realized that this guy is a fraud.

Obviously it's a sham. Wilder is no lower than top 3 right now.

But that has nothing to do with ranking systems.

Wilder will make one of the greatest comebacks in heavyweight history!

Nearly everyone is counting him completely out and giving all the praise to Fury so it should be the same or magnified when he wins as a huge underdog and under disadvantages at skills and size!

All I'm seeing here is that folk aint really clear on how the sanctioning orgs rank fighters. Wilder wasn't ranked with anyone except the IBO and the WBC before he lost. Lot of the time the other orgs won't rank a champion with another org and not all fighters are registered or pay fees to all 4 orgs so ain't ranked by all of 'em anyway.

Looks like the WBA have now ranked him since he's no longer a Champion with the WBC. The WBO and IBF may follow suit or may not depending on whether he's pays them sanctioning fees or not... lotta big fighters simply dont register with the IBF cos they don't like the enforcement policies.

When the dust settles expect him still to be within the top 5 with everyone who counts / he pays sanctioning fees too.
