Deontay Wilder plummets from official ranking.

Yeah, that makes total sense. It's simple.
It's not just that he lost.
It was a complete domination.
Joshua was at least competitive in the early rounds against Ruiz, then he got clipped and he was stopped by the ref on his feet.
Wilder was not competitive except the first round, and even that was shaky. Then got a towel thrown on him.
Joshua never talked significant smack about how Ruiz "ain't gon get up this time".
Joshua avenged his loss. Wilder escaped with a questionable draw and then got absolutely destroyed by an overweight gypsy in the rematch. He had ZERO answer for what was coming his way.
That's the problem, I think.
I think in the Joshua-Ruiz case though, it was a complete shock so there was the expectation that Joshua would adapt and win the rematch (or Ruiz was paid off. Who knows!?). I think most sane people would have always put Fury in with a chance, even in the first fight.
I genuinely believed that Wilder's right hand would connect and put Fury out this time. I was wrong. But for Wilder to slip down that much, just shows the fickle nature of those rankings - unless you are Adam Kownacki!Comment

I've to say the conduct is still very abnormal.Spoke too soon?
Wilder is now at #1 at WBC, so what do you have to say now?
WBA also ranking him highest in the open list (obviously below their titleholders, which they have several).
IBO ranking him at #4 below Ruiz and Whyte which is strange since Ruiz also lost. Maybe it is because of the TKO.
Others have not included him or are yet to update either due to his suspension or simply because he is contractually bound for the WBC title and won't be fighting in their ranking.
It's odd to me how a bunch of folks who check officials by-and-by want to throw around their assumptions. I checked the ranks because that's what I do....not y'all....This is not MY first rodeo, but, sure does seem like yours.
I live in rural America. My internet is not always stable. Right now just getting here took me over two hours. One post. And that's only if this ***** sends when I click submit. I suspect it will cause I've run a new line, but, you really never know when it's distance, interference from frequency or just the provider being ****. I'm dealing with yoklkes ya know? You can call and ask but they just say "Yeah we're sending the signal" Well....no ****s, am I receiving though? FFS.
Anyway, point is I've **** to deal with atm that limits my ability to be here.
Trust me, those who know me know this is true, even my haters; I will come back with a very long historically driven response to youse. It may not sway you, but it will happen.

It really doesn't surprise me, even if temporarily. Remember, Manny got DESTROYED on the rankings after losing to Jeff Horn.Yeah, that makes total sense.
