Kownacki would have made more in that fight than he'll make in the rest of his career.

A loss wouldn't have hurt his reputation, and just like Andy, you never know if he could have landed and changed history.

It was really bad advice to not take that fight. Haymon and Kownacki should have been begging for it - he was the perfect fit.

We're not taking about a guy they were grooming for heavyweight stardom. We're taking about a guy they were grooming for a beat down by Wilder. And using as a pawn in freezing Joshua out (remember when that was a thing?)

Hopefully some of the fans, and hopefully the fighters start seeing this. Haymon did a great job with Wilder - but everyone else was collateral damage.

I'm confident that these guys start off as sportsmen wanting to achieve. Then they sign with PBC...

The fact is it was the wrong decision to not take the fight. Haymon being his manager supposed to do what's best for Kownacki. He did not.
It was his other manager not Haymon. I forget his name but he used to host the fight guys podcast. I think that podcast went off the air but he’s the one that told Brian Kenny. He told him in the fighter meetings and again after his last fight. What are you gonna do his people didn’t want the fight at that time.

I rather get battered for a shot to 4 belts and 6mil on the line.
His payday is gone and if not careful, gone for ever.
It’s not my 6 million so I could give 2 ****s. His people didn’t think he was ready so go cry to them.

No, he was never shit to begin with. You are an intelligent guy sir. You've seen his style. He is nothing but a human punching bag.

One cannot become a world champion with that kind of style of his because it shorten careers. Eating those many punches would not only inevitably shave years off his boxing career but when you factor in his overall physical conditioning; It will age him very quickly also.

The only thing he had going for himself was his white skin tone complexion. He had the complexion for the connection. That was his appeal.

He will always be able to sell out the Barclay's Center given his Polish background. So he will be back.

He’ll never get that money now just as Wilder will never see anywhere near 120 million. ****** choices lose for 100k or lose for 6 million or in folders case lose for 20 million or lose for 120 million Haymin is a smart guy he must have a way with words to talk people out of that much money

That's what happens when you have a manager that's really a promoter.

This was another cherrypick gone wrong, wasn’t he meant to fight Breazeale? But somehow they are able to downgrade to Helenius as a final eliminator!!! Now we got Helenius WTF!!! And they made him turn down the AJ fight for 5m, because he wasn’t in shape, when has Kownacki ever in shape?

I hope other fighters are beginning to see a different side to the previous model of PBC/Haymon. In the beginning it was about the boxers and getting them the biggest payday whilst cutting a little percentage for himself, but he has changed the model due to his own gain, to suit his own business and now he is costing his boxers millions of dollars. Sadly some aren’t that educated to see anything, and some have signed their lives away. So they can’t get out of it.
