No, you got your ass whupped! You only fought in spurts by throwing flurries that Jermall saw coming a mile away.
Charlo neutralized you and had you off balance. He had you eating leather all night with his jab which kept you on the outside.

The one thing I admire the most about Jose Benavidez, Jr is his willingness and ability to take a real ass whupping!

No, he just got old overnight. He no longer has the same size, youth, power and stamina as he once had more than eight years ago.

Perhaps you are right. I know that David Morrell would probably more than likely to give David Benavidez a real run for his money at 168....

I think he'll fight Caleb Plant next. Which I believe would be a 50/50 fight at this point.

That goes without saying. In addition, not to mention that he had the youth and power advantage too. I believe that Andrade's lack of power was the main factor in his losing this fight. He just didn't have enough pop in his punches to fight "The Mexican Monster" off of him....

I have to tip my hat and give credit where credit is due. Andrade exceeded my expectations last night. He was in there to actually win the fight. I thought he was winning the fight early on with both his work rate and combination punching up until that knockdown.
He displayed more heart...

No wonder Ginger is afraid of fighting David Benavidez. Just take a good look at his fight with the undefeated Demetrius Andrade. Canelo won't fight or come nowhere near him now after last night's performance because he's afraid of getting his ass whooped. Canelo has been ducking the Mexican Monster...mjh1969 likes this.

It was very prudent move on Ergashev's part. It's a good thing he quit when had to because he was just about to get his ass whooped!JimmyBX likes this.

No, he is still a good fighter who can fight. He was just overmatched by a much better fighter that’s all.
Now we see why Canelo is so afraid of the “Mexican Monster” .
It’s just that Andrade wasted an entire career chasing rainbows and fool’s...Mooshashi likes this.

Why are you hating? I thought his performance was nothing short of superb; Given the fact that he has been inactive for more than two and half years. I thought Charlo was dominant against Benavidez....

Jermall looked pretty good in that ring last night. He has perhaps one of the best jabs In the game. He didn’t display hardly any ring rust at all.
Jose didn’t chance because he couldn’t get past Charlo’s jab. For my money; Mall’s performance after a two and...

Haney would be a stylistic nightmare for Matias. Haney is a pure boxer who doesn’t like to take a whole lot of risks in the ring. He won’t trade or exchange punches with Matias....Leicesterage likes this.

I agree. Due to managerial problems; He never fought the big fights. He would constantly price himself out of fights.
Also, it was a culmination of both time, lack of size and power; Which all played a factor in Boo Boo’s loss to Benavidez.
This fight was always a stylistic...

What a incredible performance by the Mexican “Monster” David Benavidez? That was a complete demolition.
No one has ever been able done that to Demetrius Andrade before. C’mon Canelo! Give this kid his opportunity. It’s been long over due..Oracle01 likes this.

Matias is definitely a force to be reckoned with. He breaks his opponent’s will. After a slow start he started to dominate Ergashev. Now let’s bring on Gary Antuanne Russell.

I'm spitting facts, proof, truth and history here my friend. However, you are right. Of course, he has fought everybody once they all became shot fighters and were no longer a serious risk or threat to him when they were fighting past their primes.
Brandon Rios, Robert Guerrero, Zab Judah,...

Sure he would! This coward only challenges opponents when they are at the most vulnerable and weakest state like Erislandy Lara.
For instance; Not only did he duck both Money Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao but Terence “Bud” Crawford as well.
If Jermall Charlo was...Last edited by champion4ever; 11-25-2023, 07:33 PM.El_Mero likes this.

I can see Demetrius “Boo Boo” Andrade winning the fight but losing the decision.
Unless he is willing to engage or take risks in this fight against Benavidez; Then I just cannot see him winning it by way of decision on the three official judge’s scorecards.
