  • Roy c’mon man! What’s wrong? Canelo has spent nearly a decade running from David Benavidez.

He is an opportunist. He waited until the WBC Super middleweight title became vacated before challenging for it.

It wasn’t until Benavidez got stripped of that title...

  • Danny Garcia is not a Hall of Famer. Even if he does defeat Erislandy Lara or not. However, it probably won't even matter though. Since the bar is now been set so low with no criteria.

i personally, don't believe that a fighter who picks and chooses who he wants to fight and whenever he...

  • I can see that the Canelo cult is out in full force. If one is a fan of Canelo then they are not true boxing fans.
    How could they?

Their hero just simply refuses to challenge the very best opposition and competition available. By refusing to take risks and cherrypicking himself all...

  • He ranks nowhere, because he is not an all-time great middleweight. Nor has he ever been an all-time great middleweight.

All-time great middleweights don’t duck good opposition; Let alone and least of all their mandatory challengers for more than two years.

    All-time greats...

  • Dude, the only reason why he was always the favorite against his opponents for most of his career was because they were all handpicked.

He played it safe by hardly, rarely or ever taking any risks outside of the ring. Which reflects a sign of a very insecure and cowardly cherry-picking...

  • Let’s not forget about Carl Froch. Who at least took risks by fighting and defeating the very best opponents and competition of his era. In addition, to not ducking or cherry picking anyone....

  • I don’t understand why BoxingScene is still even posting articles about this disgraced asshole guy! Are they racist too? He is simply irrelevant.

His conduct paints all La Razans and Chicanos in a very bad light. I know that all Mexicans are not racist. However, his hostility toward blacks...

  • LOL, He is definitely an Hall of Fame fighter but an All-Time great; Hell no!

All Time greats are not afraid of taking ass whuppings like your husband Saul Alvarez.

The reason why he won’t fight his WBC mandatory challenger David Benavidez because he is afraid of getting...

  • While I respect Roy Jones; I must strongly disagree with him. The only legitimate win of Canelo’s career was against GGG.

All of his other victories were either controversial, overmatched or shopworn. For example: Many boxing fans thought he lost both the Austin Trout and Erislandy...

  • Teaching a referee class is needed because Tyson Fury should have been stopped in his last fight against Oleksandr Usyk.

In the 9th round; Usyk buzzed Fury and the referee called a halt to the action and gave Tyson Fury a standing eight count without him ever touching the canvas.

  • No! Not at all. The question is how should Mike approach this fight? Should he go for the early knockout or try to conserve his energy?

I will say that all of these new rules changes like fighting with 14 oz. gloves, 2 minute rounds and a 8 round fight. All favor the older opponent....

  • You are right Haney was getting clipped by Ryan’s left hook all night but why? What makes this fight so eerily suspicious. Is that while being known for his defensive prowess.

We have never seen that happen to Devin Haney before. Which in my judgement raises several red flags.

    replied to Deontay Wilder greatness
So is that what it was? Deontay Wilder is the blame for Fury losing his last two previous fights?

While looking like shit and getting his asswhooped in the process; By both Ngannou and Usyk? Hot damn!

Who would have ever thought it?

  • Here’s the deal. Fury’s fight with Usyk was very eerily reminiscent of Muhammad Ali vs Leon Spinks I in the reverse.

Ali would have easily won that fight had he not spotted Spinks the first six rounds. He believed that Leon would eventually tire himself out.

    However,...

  • Damn! What took them so long? I know they have a lot prospects and under developed talent that they would like to showcase.

So what better way to showcase them than on a non-pay-per-view-card? Forcing the consumer to shell out $80 or more just to watch them is both absurd and ludicrous...

  • A fighter can only go to the well so many times before it eventually starts to catch up to him and began taking a toll on his body..

In his 16 year professional career; Tyson Fury has been dropped to the canvas for a total of eight times and four those came from one opponent and his name...
