I can't help but think karma has bitten Kownacki (or his team) in the ass here. The whole world wanted the breazeale fight and he went with the perceived soft touch. As a side note, I think if he'd taken a knee and saw out the end of the round, he would have ko'd Helenius in the next round.

Martin vs Helenius makes alot of sense now. Martin beat Washington (the man who beat Helenius) and Helenius best Kownacki (Who beat Martin). Helenius will be waiting a looong time if he thinks he is gonna wait for the WBA mandatory to be made, theres a ton of fights ahead before that fight would be made.

I wasn't high on Kownacki and saw the red flags with the last few rounds of Martin and his way too competitive fight with a shopworn Arreola. Helenius is pretty shopworn himself but he's big and has a powerful right.

Kownacki's slowness, aggressiveness and poor defense finally got him. He was on his way to stopping the Nordic Nightmare until he wasn't. I think Breazeale would have probably done the same.

Wonder if we will see Ajagba vs Helenius and Kownacki vs Cojanu next.

I figured Kownacki would get beat, I didn't think it would be Helenius.

Adam got greedy. It's like old George Foreman would say, "don't follow the puncher."

If Kownacki had just been patient and defense-minded, Helenius would've gassed out.

Helenius is in big for money. Best case scenario for him is to take step aside money for a Fury and Joshua/Pulev fight then fight the winner.

That would be interesting fight. I wouldn't mind seeing Ajagba against Helenius either. Martin isn't terrible but sometimes seems to need to be convinced of that in the ring. Efe looked a little apprehensive against Cojanu and got caught a few times.

I'd favor both (especially Efe) over Helenius but the Nordic Nightmare, while shopworn, can crack pretty hard and would probably make both think before getting too aggressive.
