No he had a decent run before Ruiz. He was never the same after that fight. He laid a beating on Povetkin when he was still a top 5-10 in the world. Usyk is an elite fighter. Still want to see him in with Wilder &Fury. I think he will smash Franklin....

I don’t want Joshua to retire before he fights Wilder & Fury. I expect him to smash Franklin within a round or 2. If he somehow were to lose then I don’t see him sticking around. Why bother? It would be pretty obvious his desire to compete is gone. I can’t see this fight being...Last edited by joe strong; Yesterday, 04:27 PM.

I’m not a hardcore nor do I have an agenda. I wasn’t aware of some of the demands. I thought the 70/30 split was fair if the fight took place in UK. I haven’t followed every detail & article since the start. I only recently read a few when the fight broke down. Someone in this...

I guess I’m a few weeks behind. Never saw any of those articles… Thanks for the update…...

So which is it? Fury was extremely upset in his rant that he had to give Usyk a rematch. Now Frank Warren in this article states Usyk asked for the rematch. So did Usyk ask for the rematch or not? Usyk’s manager ranted about a list of things but never said what those lists of demands were. Warren...Last edited by joe strong; 03-24-2023, 07:46 AM.

Ahhhh ok! I misunderstood as I thought it was 50/50 win or lose. Regardless Fury seems pretty upset that he had to give a rematch to Usyk at all. Oh course that is if Usyk was the one who actually demanded the rematch. Say what you want about Fury but if it was Usyk then I think Fury offered 70/30 &...Last edited by joe strong; 03-23-2023, 11:32 PM.

It was out yesterday (Wasn’t at the table don’t truly know) that Team Fury offered a 50/50 split for the rematch & Team Usyk wanted the lions share if he won. Apparently that was the road block. As I said earlier what if Fury won? He would still get 50%. He could lose 2 fights &...Last edited by joe strong; 03-23-2023, 10:44 PM.

You have a point there but what if it was Usyk who lost? He would still get 50/50 would he not? Both guys have the option of a rematch if they lose. Maybe i got this rematch clause thing wrong but if Fury beat Usyk & took home 70% & they only take 50% in the rematch isn’t that a good deal...Last edited by joe strong; 03-23-2023, 10:11 PM.

Fury ain’t in it for legacy. He’s in it for retirement money. So if Usyk takes the 70/30 split & then 50 in the rematch how much money do you think he will earn between the 2 fights? Similar to the Joshua fights? Maybe even a little less? What will he earn fighting Dubois, Joyce or Hrgovic?...

Like both guys & it’s a fight I want to see more than any other. The biggest HW fight in 20 years. There is one issue. Both fights would have taken place in the UK. How many people in the UK would be there to see Usyk? I’m sure there would be some but Usyk has spent his entire career...Last edited by joe strong; 03-23-2023, 07:49 PM.

If he beats Ruiz he becomes the WBC mandatory & his shot won’t come for quite sometime. Does he really even want a 4th Fury fight? Once again as I said before everyone is waiting to see what happens with Fury/Usyk before moving forward. Let’s wait for that April 1 WBA deadline to pass...Last edited by joe strong; 03-22-2023, 07:54 PM.

The Fury fight needs to happen. If it doesn’t Usyk can just vacate belts & fight who he wants. Wilder is probably the next biggest pay day outside Fury & Joshua. He ain’t fighting Hgovic but bouts with Dubois & Joyce would probably be decent pay days. Warren claims the only road...
