Just got caught being overly aggressive and trying to impress his fans, his flaws was exposed vs Charles Martin and Chris Arreola so it was only a matter of time. Unfortunately for him, he got caught by an opponent that was suppose to be a Showcase for him in front of his Crowd
Just not a good ERA of Heavyweights so prepare to see many upsets in this ERA of Heavyweights
Man you people sound ridiculous when you say things like this. As If the HW's of the past were some kind of gods in comparison or something.
The funny thing is the HW's of today are waay bigger than the old school heavyweights and in all likelihood would dominate them If you matched them up..
This is why you have to actually fight someone to beat them, not sit back and say that you can and you could beat them. Prove it in the ring. Wilder has avoided the best for years and when he finally stepped up, he lost badly.
Why do comments about Kownacki's fight turn into Wilder? Wilder fought Ortiz twice and then fought Fury twice. Just stop with this BS. When a guy does step up, then you got something to say.
By Odin’s beard, Helenius throws hard body shots for a taller guy. If he keeps moving and throwing rights then it’s possible to pull this off. The trick will be to keep resetting the action by holding on the inside. Pull that off and you get a free crack at Kownacki’s head each time he bulls in with no movement.
I want to emphasize that I don’t see something. It’s just that I see this game plan is possible and the odds should be a bit closer. Worth throwing a few dollars on.
Helenius looked gassed the entire fight too. Even after the fight he couldn't celebrate for like 5 minutes. Just had his mouth hanging open to catch his breath
I have to very much agree, man. Very much. I feel him to have been pretty lucky to have rocked Adam where and when he did, if this round had been gotten through, I think it was likely to start looking like a lot many of the losses of RH. He looked so, so very uncomfortable in there though, right? He is saying he wasn't hurt, and maybe he wasn't near KO hurt, but he certainly looked as though there was an acknowledgement early-ish on that he needed to get something done shortly, and he was maybe gaining in confidence seeing that although he was being outworked immediately, which is not any surprise, the punches Helenius was landing were almost all big, clean, right hand bombs....the ones Goosen was lamenting multiple times as being somewhat limiting on account of a lack of punch variety, not that I think Goosen was incorrect really though, it is usually an issue if a one handed fighter is only a one handed fighter at this level of boxing. But, lived by that right hand, later on, probably die by it again like before. Crazy universal star alignment in boxing lately
