I love that Ruiz beat AJ but to say he is a household name that can generate millions on his own is to show you don’t know jack squat about the business of boxing.

If Wladimir was to come back and get a chance to fight Ruiz, it would never be an even split. That’s just a fact.
This is a Ruiz and Joshua fight not a Joshua solo. Your argument works for the first fight but not the second. Ruiz forced the upset and now it's his name that they want back in the ring with Joshua not anyone else.

OK, so who would they want to fight? Wanting a rematch is different from wanting more money.

If andy wants more money, then he should just wait as long as he can.

A court can vacate a title by imposing an injunction. It can order that a title not be defended unless a certain fighter participates in the bout.

The court could also prohibit a boxing organization from sanctioning any fights until it complies with the injunction.

I remember when a fighter sued the WBA for dropping him him in the ranking and won. Boxing organizations must comply with their own rules

Andy Ruiz should not accept the fight unless he gets a fair deal, he's the champion now and not Joshua.

Idk, I think you're underestimating Ruiz' value here. He is the champ. He is the guy who lit the HW division (and the entire sport) on fire with his upset win. The AJ-Ruiz fight was bigger than any of AJ's previous fights (even the Wlad fight) because it got 1000x more attention in the days and weeks after than any of those fights. Hardcore boxing fans are all salivating to see the rematch and so many more casual sports fans are interested as well. I am one of two boxing fans in my office, but everybody, even the old ladies heard about Ruiz' victory. None of those casuals knew who Anthony Joshua was before that fight. The rematch is a big deal, much bigger than the first fight, and Ruiz is not just the no-name opponent this time out.

U would think people who come to boxing forums would know about boxing

It doesn't ****in matter whether we think fatboy deserves lion share our not, fatboy signed a contract. He needs to know his role and come back on the straight and narrow.

Fast Eddie just held a press conference confirming fight has been signed.

It doesn't change the fact that he begged and was giving a lifetime opportunity, which he made the best use of

Yeah the fight in SA is a done deal.

Eddie Hearn insists that Anthony Joshua's world heavyweight title rematch is on for Saudi Arabia on December 7 despite controversy about location and demands for more millions from Andy Ruiz Jr.
