Ruiz is not the nice guy everyone was saying he was. He's already lying.

It doesn't ****in matter whether we think fatboy deserves lion share our not, fatboy signed a contract. He needs to know his role and come back on the straight and narrow.
Fast Eddie just held a press conference confirming fight has been signed.

Can Ruiz make $10 million fighting Arreola?
AJ can make that fighting an Uber driver.
Simple facts

The AJ-Ruiz fight was bigger than any of AJ's previous fights (even the Wlad fight) because it got 1000x more attention in the days and weeks after than any of those fights. Hardcore boxing fans are all salivating to see the rematch and so many more casual sports fans are interested as well. I am one of two boxing fans in my office, but everybody, even the old ladies heard about Ruiz' victory. None of those casuals knew who Anthony Joshua was before that fight. The rematch is a big deal, much bigger than the first fight, and Ruiz is not just the no-name opponent this time out.
I get your point. Here’s the difference:
AJ is a mega star in Europe. Casual fans in the US didn’t know him and didn’t know Ruiz either.
Ruiz will NEVER make the kind of money AJ commands.
To prove my point, Wladimir Made way more money fighting in Europe than the US that’s why he never bothered coming here.
Very few American boxers command that kind of crowd pull plus money.
Floyd is actually the last one. Oscar and Canelo had/have the Mexican crowd’s support.
If Ruiz gets beat by AJ he will be forgotten as fast as we forgot about Buster Douglas.
I like Ruiz and I hope he beats AJ.
