Ruiz will do what AJ and Hearn have in the contract or he can defend himself in court. End of story.

My assumption though is that they aren’t all the same. My line of thinking has always been that If EVERYTHING was ironed out in the first contract, then we would already have this fight set.
Go online and google search Rahman/Lewis contract and the lawsuit. Most of us have seen one before, we have educate ourselves. It’s a standard sort of contract in boxing nowadays.

Nah I heard he could just walk away, drop the belts and fight someone else. 😂

          It's called dragging your heels.

You can make the process drawn out but eventually you have to legally abide by the stipulations of the contract you signed.

So just imagine a world where contracts mean nothing. No business would get done.

I remember the lawsuit. But again though, that would be assuming that every contact since then is a carbon copy.

He cannot “refuse AJ’s terms” because he already agreed to it and signed off the paperworks. Which means he is legally bind to a contract. I don’t know which part of the world you live in. But in the real world he isn’t going to just drop a belt and then walk away and carry on with his career 😂 unless Team joshua don’t want to bother him.

If Team Joshua want to bother him then he would NOT be able to fight. It’s that simple.
I don't think all of the sanctioning bodies would strip Andy of the titles if he refused to fight in S.A.

AJ could sue for money, but that is a different matter than getting stripped of the title.

But what I'm saying is if he did get to retained the belts without fighting AJ, who could he fight for equal money.

And I don't think Andy would have signed a contract that said AJ gets to pick the location of rematch. But if he did, then why is his manager complaining?

I understand what you’re saying, but again we don’t know the language.

Last week everyone was screaming how the clause stipulated that the fight MUST be in the UK. Now everyone is screaming how the contract stipulates that it’s Joshua's choice. Clearly people just like to scream.

No they are not a carbon copy, the Rahman’s case was worse than this one. And Lewis won that easily.

Most people were telling you and others that the stipulation are always in favour of the A-side (Normal and standard in most of these cases), which means they can decide where the fight is held. If they want it in the UK then that’s what would happen. They have appease to Team Ruiz request for a neutral ground, the question now is how many requests would Team Joshua allow that is out of the signed contract?

Contracts get broken all the time (especially in boxing) -- that's why they have trials in courts of law.

AJ could sue an obtained an injunction preventing Andy from fighting anyone else depending on the law where the contract was signed.

So andy could just out wait AJ if he wanted. But Andy has to abide by AJ's terms because he wants the money the AJ fight would bring.
