    That’s indisputable lad

Keep trying to spin your argument that Roy has some atg 160 resume
    Hopkins was 28 years old.

He didn't lose another fight for 12 years.

That 28 year old version of Hopkins was at least as good as Jacobs.

Beating Jacobs isn't some great feat.

How was GG prime at 36/37?

Canelo struggled with him the first time, and most people had GG winning. He's lucky that they're not 1-1 across the 2 fights.

I never said that Roy had a great MW resume. But he beat better fighters than GG and Jacobs at higher weights.

On a P4P/H2H basis, Roy was on another level to Canelo, GG and Jacobs.

Now kindly explain how Canelo has a great MW resume?

Since when does having tough wins over GG and Jacobs constitute as having a great resume?

Why is he the best MW since Marvin?

    Based on what?

The same way Hopkins didn’t hit his prime until 34-35

Some fighters peak late Hop and G are 2 of them

28 year old Hop loses to Jacobs easily

That version had a sloppy defense and was a bit of a head hunter Jacobs picks him apart like Roy did

Where are the 2 prime elite 160 guys Roy beat again?

      Lol

GG didn't peak at Bernard's age. Get real.

The version of Bernard from 93 would not have lost to Jacobs easily.

        You're talking nonsense.

        There's nothing special about Jacobs.

If you think that Canelo beating Jacobs in a close, competitive fight was better than where Roy easily beat Bernard with an injured hand, you're a fool.

Why do you keep asking me the same questions, genius?

I never said that Roy had 2 elite wins at 160.

I said he had 1 over Bernard, but he beat better fighters at higher weights.

        What difference does it make?

Roy was clearly on another level to GG, Canelo and Jacobs, and he'd have easily beaten all of them.

Now tell me how Canelo has this great MW resume, considering that he struggled with a 36 year old GG, before beating Jacobs, which was after he'd had 2 joke C-W wins over Cotto and Khan?

Canelo does not possess a great MW resume.

Neither has he proven himself to be a better MW than Bernard. Not yet.

And on a P4P/H2H basis, he's nowhere near the level that Roy was at.

        So to summarise:

As yet, he's clearly not the best MW since Hagler.

He has a lot of work to do before anybody can claim such a thing.

Without a doubt he's the best middleweight who popped dirty for juicing since Hagler.

Their is no athlete in any sport that is prime at 34-35.

This is prime athletic Hopkins at 32 already a champ with multiple defenses. If you think an older version of Hopkins is better than this one especially claiming 35 was prime you are a fool. I can easily see his workrate diminishing with age especially during the echols(rematch), Holmes, and Trinidad fights. You probably been watching too many "old master" kung-fu movies.

People who obsess over resume do not trust their own eyes because they have never boxed.

Obviously 99.9% of lads on here are former pro boxers that held multiple world titles and know what they’re talking about

Canelo hasn't established that he's superior to ggg and I just don't think he's better than Bhop.

                      Exactly right on both points.
