Canelo proves without doubt he is the best middleweight since Hagler

He’s beaten the two fighters seen as the best 2 middleweights and now holds all the belts that matter.

No mw since prime Hagler has had the balls of Canelo and he deserves the status as the best 73kg/160lbs lad on the planet.

i like how they say, Jacobs started off too slow. He started that way because a fresh canelo to ****ing slick with his movement. Jacobs couldnt do **** against that, he had to wait til canelo slowed a bit.

If Canelo didn’t take a little break around the 7th I think he would’ve bodybagged Jacobs. The lad is dead lucky Canelo coasted for a few rounds.

We can not ignore that Clenelo has lost 4 or 5 fights in his career, only to be saved by corrupt judges. He is also roided out of his mind. These factors make it impossible to give him full credit. He will likely clean up at 160 now though, and become a force at 168 before retiring. It's great for the hype, and to generate money for a few rich people, but I'm a realist at the end of the day.

He's a top fighter but he still got a gift v GGG, twice.

His official record doesn't really tell the truth but it is what it is. Part of the game.

Hell of a fighter though, he just can't beat GGG without help from the judges. A mid 30s GGG at that.

Seconded. Fighting on Mexican holidays basically secures he'll always get the nod.
