1. It is not common place for a late replacement to be guaranteed the exact same purse as the fighter he is replacing. It hardly ever happens.
2. It wasnt the start of negotiations they flat out refused and called it a NO GO. This was not the start of negotiations it was the end. Eddie still went back with a higher offer so im told but that was instantly refused.
There is just no excusing calling 10x your highest payday a lowball. Call it less than you want, call it not enough, but its far from a lowball. And from what im hearing from Eddie Hearn it was more than 5 million anyway. We will know for sure soon enough. Either way it is a duck though.
