    I'm sure he'd be fine.

But the real point is that Ortiz is a much better fight.

It's a match-up better than the original one and sure to get more national attention that the Miller fight as well.

But, no use arguing over something that isn't going to happen.
Listen, you're smoking crack if you think Luis Ortiz shouldn't take 5million.

this is a guy who came on a boat from Cuba 10 years ago with a mission to get proper healthcare for his daughter.

Whoever is advising him not to take this payday must be as ****** as the people advising Wilder to turn down 100million.

Nonsense. The reason why Miller was selected and overpaid is because he was an undefeated American in the top 10 and it was Joshua's American debut. They didn't want a cuban or any other nationality. DAZN chose Miller themselves.

ortiz also have a FOTY candidate against a top 3 HW in NY

hes worth every penny miller is...

whats suspect is offering ortiz less than miller...it says you arent serious

what ortiz made before or against wilder or whoever is irrelevant...hearn set the market price here with miller for AJs american debut........if ortiz was to take the fight hes not fight wilder or whoever else...hes fighting AJ....whatever ortiz made previously is irrelevant...if miller is worth 6.5 so is ortiz
So how exactly is Ortiz the pet monkey higher than Miller?
In what sense? What exactly has he done?
His highest rating is getting KTFO.

Hearn's offer of 5mil was not an offer to fight Wilder it was an offer to fight AJ. Ortiz has more value than Miller but he wasn't even offered as much. Some of you guys act like you're 13 years old because you have no clue how the world works. By your ******ed logic, Miller should make what he did from his last opponent and should never have been offered the 6mil. Just stop trying to talk money until you get a job and figure out how this shyt works. You get paid based on the job.

Ortiz doesn't have more value. Miller was an undefeated top 10 American selected for an American debut. He had more value than a recently defeated Cuban for an American debut.

Again, I'm not here to argue.

5M is a lot of money.

                But even so, it's lowballing.

I mean offering the guy stepping in on short notice less?

Where do they do THAT at?

Look, when Vitali stepped in on short notice against Lewis, they didn't lowball him. They gave him 20%, plus German TV revenue.

Ortiz now is at least as popular nationally in the US as Vitali was then.

I'm not here to change your mind.

But, one thing I know is that Hearn is screwing up AJ's US debut.

And every fan should have a problem with that.

Ortiz is far more well known than Miller and a bigger attraction.

He'd also be taking the fight on short notice.

If Miller was getting 6.5, Ortiz should be getting at least 8. If Ortiz asked for 10, that means 8 is what he'd settle for.

If Hearn offered 5, that doesn't mean Hearn doesn't want the fight. You always low ball first. Always. Perhaps Hearn will offer 6.5 or 7 next.

But for you to say 5 isn't a low ball shows you're just completely brainwashed. Because if you don't think Hearn would low ball on his opening offer, that would mean Hearn is an incompetent promoter.

And Hearn may be a lot of things, but incompetent isn't one of them. He's one of the best promoters of the modern era and when all is said and done, he may go down as one of the best promoters of all time.

You're not convincing anyone with that. You're in the uk, right? Americans don't know Miller. Not nearly as well as they know Ortiz. Almost knocking out Wilder gave Ortiz more cred than anything Miller ever did.

You can disagree but it's just the way it is here in the states.

They don't know Ortiz either. Simply having an American challenging the #1 HW is going to get more eyes than a Cuban.
