This is based on what exactly? Neither guy has any kind of fan base.

Was Miller headlining his last 3 fights or was he an undercard fighter? How big of an attraction is Ortiz if his name doesnt even carry the strength of a headline fight.

It makes perfect sense as Ortiz isn’t his fighter miller was. 5 mil not a lowball when he accepted 500k to fight wilder.

It’s been amazing people think 5mil is a lowball offer to someone who previously said they’d take the fight for any amount of money and has a career high payday of 500k

Miller was headlining on a service nobody has on shows nobody was buying tickets to. The public doesn't know who he is. Not his fault. But HBO and Showtime never got behind him. HBO and Showtime have various points have both gotten behind Ortiz.

would that be ok with you? if you answer yes you should go drink a nice lukewarm glass of bleach....because you have no concept of markets and money and life

hearn set the market....6.5...if you are ranked higher than miller and actually have US tv exposure and have been in a FOTY candidate against wilder in ny then you are entitled to at least that......

but its obvious hearn would rather give AJs fans an easy night work and a knockout and save himself 4.5 million

it boggles my mind how dumb you guys can actually be....like you cant really believe your own BS
Lmao he’s not offering 501k though is he. There’s a big difference between 5mil and 501k. If your biggest payday is 500k for a world title fight I really don’t know how you can call 5mil for three fights a low ball offer. It’s less than what miller is getting but Hearn obviously thinks miller brings more attention being from New York but either way Hearn doesn’t owe Ortiz anything. Miller was his fighter so I get why he was offered more.

You’re showing your bias because rather than focusing on the fact Ortiz said he would fight aj for anything and then turning down a massive sum of money you’re trying to claim Hearn is low balling him.

I’m done with this issue anyway, Ortiz is a cheater he doesn’t deserve all these title shots anyway. Why reward another cheater? Find someone else

I agree but a lot of people think he’s the best available opponent. Tbh it’s slim pickings if it was down to me I’d choose konowacki.

I will repeat, his last 3 fights since he got knocked out by Wilder have been undercard fights. Where has his stock and value risen? You just say it, im trying to find the proof you havnt provided but i just cant see it. If his stock had risen from the Wilder fight he wouldnt be undercarding. If his value had risen he would be getting paid more.

You are saying his value and stock has risen. Where? Saying Showtime, at various points what ever the hell that means, have gotten behind him means what exactly?

You should be telling me he headlines, you should be telling me he gets paid more money and i would have to say yes you are right his stock has risen. But all i got then was Showtime have started to get behind him.

Yeh i can see your point, i mean what kind of old man at the tail end of his fairly non event career would fight for a mere 5m purse (10 x higher than any he had had before) while getting nothing more than a chance to fight for the heavyweight championship of the world at MSG.
I am sure his next fight he will get a purse and fight of the magnitude that an old bloke on the slide deserves.
