Of course it’s a lowball they’re just using Ortiz name to generate some attention for AJ. They never wanted to fight him or else they would of at least offered Ortiz the same purse as Miller. I will repeat, his last 3 fights since he got knocked out by Wilder have been undercard fights. Where has his stock and value risen? You just say it, im trying to find the proof you havnt provided but i just cant see it. If his stock had risen from the Wilder fight he wouldnt be undercarding. If his value had risen he would be getting paid more.

Yeh i can see your point, i mean what kind of old man at the tail end of his fairly non event career would fight for a mere 5m purse (10 x higher than any he had had before) while getting nothing more than a chance to fight for the heavyweight championship of the world at MSG.
I am sure his next fight he will get a purse and fight of the magnitude that an old bloke on the slide deserves.
