You have no idea what he makes. Filed purses are bogus. Also, what he makes for a stay busy fight has nothing to do with what his value is in a major fight. Most fighters at the top just wait all year for the big fight. Ortiz chooses to be active, then you criticize him for it. The fighters will never make you happy.

Yeah I do criticize him for fighting bums his entire life, saying he’ll fight Joshua for free and then demand $10million when he got 500k vs wilder.

      Lololololol

Yeah, because the biggest star in boxing needs to use the name of a nobody that no one knows.

You're wasted on this forum. You should be a brain surgeon or something with your logic and ****** skill.

So the more money you earn, the more you give to the opponent? Shame Floyd never got this memo. Or any other big American star. Hmmm.

#1 - You have no idea what he got vs Wilder.
#2 - He's worth far more now than he was before the Wilder fight.
#3 - If Miller was getting 6.5, Ortiz on short notice is worth at least 7.5.
#4 - If Hearn offered 5 and Ortiz asked for 10, meeting in the middle would be 7.5.

If that were the case, you would have been able to dispute my points. Since I couldn't, you ignored them and resorted to personal attacks instead. Should have just admitted you were wrong and kept some dignity.

I’ve tried to debate your points in the past, but then you end up going even more ****** than you currently are.

Im reading through this thread and looking for information that makes sense... And the two people you attack personally make the most sense lol.

Any fight is singular, a boxer does not get paid for a season. This fight with AJ, given the hoophula, etc is such that if we apply ockham's Razor we see that

                    1) As Red said: You get paid by the job. Replacing Miller means at the very least Ortiz should not get less than Miller... Its also a last minute deal lets not forget...

                    2) And WBC guy discussing WHY perhaps Ortiz was so called lo balled also makes sense: "it is the start of a negotiation" its kind of common sense.

Again it is funny how these promoter threads get so acrimonious lol. Let me ask this question: with the drawing power of AJ, and with the date set for this big fight....what is it worth to have a decent opponent who has made things happen? Because it seems to me the payday for Ortiz is peanuts and simply a way to start a negotiation in earnest.

Why do people get so worked up over purses? In many endevours one is paid per the job. AJ has tremendous drawing power right? So If I am the promoter I want to get him in with someone who is at least a credible threat... though not someone who he did not train for and could derail him. Under those conditions what would it matter if they offered Ortiz 12 Million? lol.

People need to realize Ortiz value has risen cuz of the Wilder fight, these mongs on here keep saying it, im hearing a certain section of mongs saying it on Youtube too.

Since he got 500k for getting cheated in the ring by Wilder he has fought 3 times, against not great opposition and all those fights have been UNDERCARD fights which without knowing for a fact i can assume didnt earn him more than the Wilder loss. So thats losing to Wilder then 3 undercard fights.

How has his financial pull got bigger? How has his stock risen? How has his worth grown since losing to Wilder?
