    That would be Canelo...

I have no idea how that ESPN list was made.

No, he's about 2-3x bigger. Not 100x. Canelo's star power is over stated. Joshua is a much much bigger star in the UK than Canelo is in the US.

Ticket prices here are a lot more than in the UK, so you can't just compare numbers because $$$ is what matters.

Edit: This is by country but it shows you how dominant the US is in this area while UK people sell $20 tickets and brag about sellouts. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_o...ues_by_revenue

You'd literally have to combine the top 4 soccer/football leagues just to be over the NFL in revenue. Combine our other major sports and it's not even a contest.
Cheap seats in U.K. are over $50

        AJ vs Klitschko:
        Tickets are priced £40, £60, £80, £100, £150, £200, £400, £800 and £2,000 VIP plus booking fees

You're not making any sense. If that were the case, Fury's next fight would be on PPV.

Fury was barely known in the US. A fluke win in the afternoon and then vanishing for years. Meanwhile, Wilder was fighting on prime time NBC and Fox with millions of viewers. Fury's value was his lineal title, not his name value in the US.

However, with the fight becoming an instant classic, the knockdown going viral, the controversy from the decision, etc, both fighters became much more valuable than they were going in. But to suggest Fury was the primary draw on US PPV is ludicrous.

The article states that the ESPN list was based on Google search, endorsements and social media following. Joshua clearly has more endorsements and social media following. Wilders search volumes are only higher in the US and Canada. So I'm not sure how this list was compiled.

But another interesting list to see is Forbes sports rich list, which Joshua is on but Wilder is nowhere to be seen.

Lolol canelo does million ppv buys he’s way bigger than wilder. A lot of non boxing fans know who Canelo is but have no idea who wilder is. Canelo is on Hennessy and tecate commercials. Wilder doesn’t have any endorsements.

If you're looking at US only, they're pretty close. That doesn't prevent AJ-Miller tickets to be more expensive and expect to sell better.
The statement had nothing to do with Canelo. Wilder is bigger in the US than Joshua. Only a clueless idiot would even question that.

New York is as effed-up as California thinking they're their own country. Wilder is an unknown quantity around the world and that's where the money is made. Joshua is the man, and Fury kicked Wilders ass. All the rest of the American heavyweights are pigs and pretenders.Wilder absolutely sucks as a boxer and his days are numbered as he well knows

A fluke win? He did the exact same thing to Wilder on his own soil as he did Klitschko, neutralized him. As AJ, Fury has a better resume than Wilder in almost half the fights. We all know why that is why you went into hiding. All that Wilder d**k riding for a fat white slob to come in and expose him was so hard for you. Keep living in denial. As Wilder is the CNN of boxers you are the same but in fan mode. Fake News lol
