You don't think he has any chance of getting a fight with stablemate Ramirez, who's unbeaten and a good champion? You don't think he has a chance to get the winner of the WBSS who'll be unbeaten, unified with three belts and most likely knocking on the p4p door? If it's Prograis (as odds-makers think so) it will be easy to make as Prograis is affiliated with TR and has a bit of a rivalry with Crawford. If Prograis wins the tournament he's probably a better option than anything not named Spence or Thurman (if he decides he wants to fight again).

It's possible Spence doesn't get any major fights in 2019 also and his list of opposition is the worst bar none of any pound for pound entrant and he's never cleaned our or unified even one division. I think if he let's Thurman/Porter/Garcia keep fighting each other and isn't willing to look into fighting on a Top Rank show being that he's a "free agent" surely some blame and lack of ambition would be pointed at him, no?

Crawford's probably happy with $3m per fight and 3 fights per year vs. I'm sure less in purses and less volume of fights and like I said the potential for opponents isn't that limited outside of the PBC league.

WBC champion at 140. A very good fighter who's improving at a rapid pace. Had an excellent win over Imam to win the title and is facing Orozco in a good fight Friday. If he keeps winning and improving (which he will) then sometime in 2019 that's a very attractive match. Ramirez is also huge for a 140-pounder.
