So in conclusion, the only real threat or money making opportunity for both is to fight each other. There isn't really another name ready in the next year or two that they can justify to their own pockets or their fans.
Not true. The Tyson fury fight is bigger than wilder over here so there’s that too. Plus it gives him the opportunity to shut up those who say fury is the real champion.

AJ couldm fight his dog and make money, he has a built in fanbase he has been working on sice day one. Something Wilder conveniently forgot about while ammassing 40um fights.

Why wont Whyte vs Joshua happen if he doesn't have a belt ?

Are they going to reject him as the mandatory challenger if he defeats Pulev ?

Comeon now its clear as day who doesn't have big fights ahead in terms of generating significant interest and thats Wilder without Joshua .

Theres literally no one he can fight besides MAYBE Fury to get him a decent look but thats not going to happen bc Joshua is a U.K rivalry fight that is huge .

This is Wilders possible landscape ........for the next 2 years not including Joshua as of now !

            1 . Breazeale ( Joshua defeated ) . Comparison Fight
            2 . Tony Bellew
            3 . Joe Parker ( Joshua defeated ) . Comparison Fight
            4. Luis Ortiz ( Rematch ) . Huge Fight
            5 . Dillian Whyte ( Joshua defeated ) . Comparison Fight
            6. Adam Kownacki ( Undefeated ) / Charles Martin ( Joshua defeated ) winner . Decent or Comparison Fight ?

Thats litered with guys that Joshua defeated . Wilder would get limited credit when Joshua is defeating more top guys . It will look like Wilder has no clue what hes doing . The guys Joshua defeated im not counting in terms of the thread topic .

Joshua potential fights in 2 year time span .......

            1. Povetkin . Huge Fight
            2. Jerrell Miller ( Undefeated ) . Decent Fight
            3 . Dillian Whyte ( Rematch ) . Huge Fight
            4. Tyson Fury ( Undefeated ) . Mega fight
            5 . Joe Parker ( Rematch ). Huge Fight
            6 . Kubrat Pulev . Decent Fight

This puts a big reality check on what the thread subject is !

The score is 3 Huge fights and 1 Mega fight for Joshua vs Only 1 Huge fight for Wilders resume against aging Ortiz .

Thats assuming Wilder doesn't get clobbered which is by far a more possibility before Joshua .

There really weren't that many spots for his team to push him, with the Fury Wlad thing taking forever then the rematch ordeal, injury, the Povetkin saga. There was really nothing that could have been forced there were no windows for fighting Fury, very small for Wlad and Parker went the Joshua route.

You were demanding for Wilder to make something of that mess but he was pretty much on the outside looking in and his best opportunities to advance were taken from him by Povetkin popping and Fury blowing off boxing.

He played the hands he was dealt and is in great position, so I fail to see how he has been unsuccessful. Unsuccessful would look like not being where he is now it would have meant failing tests and having real set backs, Wilder has been constantly moving forward and upward.
Nope am being perfectly fair, his team didn’t do enough for him. If they did he would be the man in the HW division, this wasn’t the hand he was dealt with, he had better selling points than most HW. And his team didn’t invest enough in him, if he had other managers/promoters I bet you he would have been the man after 10 years as a pro.

Agreed. They could've come into the fight as a fellow unified champion if they could've made that fight.
Nope I don’t see Fury going over there for the money that they would want to offer him, unless they offer Fury like 20m dollars, which would not happen.

Regarding Parker yeah agreed, this is why I said Wilder team failed him, someone like him should be the man at HW by now and he should be well known. Gambler (Poster) saying this is the hand he has been dealt with is just pushing it a bit IMHO.

                  Who wrote this article?
Wilder knocked Audley out in 1 in the U.K.
He “KO’d” Scott in Puerto Rico.
Maybe Boxingscene needs to hire some fresh blood that actually do research before they print these articles

Hearn is right in the sense that the HW division is crap and there are absolutely nothing exciting about it apart from two average boxers - AJ & Wilder - and the question mark that is Tyson Fury.

Wilders numbers in the US are fine. It’s Joshua who can’t draw flies to s.hit in the US.
