It didn't work out for him but he didn't duck Hopkins, make him wait, or pull mw catchweight games for yrs. Ggg can only fight who is available at mw as fat as this record goes and hes fought every mw that was available to him. Not his fault Canelo chose to wait 2 yrs and then got help with the judges.
Yeah, if Tito was on that run today he'd have likely been steered away from that fight as an unnecessary risk. Probably sneak a title in at 168 and then fight Jones. Then again Tito was a warrior who would always want to fight the best and didn't overthink matchups. Part of the reason he's so loved and respected.

as usual..... you happily support anything that is disrespectful/negative for the sport..... like a good little fanboy lol

grow up clown, nobody is going to listen to your spin and bullshht

GGG is the WBC MW champion and he has been the WBC champion since he won the title in 2010.

He was a level above both Sturm and Geale, the 2 guys who held the paper "super" title during that time, and who both refused to fight him, and you know it.

Maybe you were once a genuine boxing fan, who loved the sport and admired the warriors who made it what it was.

Whatever, all you are now is a bitter, lemon sucking old twat, motivated only by negativity and hate.

Go slash your wrists and put yourself out of your misery.

If Monzon will be in this era, there wouldn't be no Hopkins, GGG or Canela! Only Hagler would of gave Monzon all he could handle, but at the end it would of being Carlos the ******* Monzon!!!!

It would have been an awesome fight, as would any mix of Monzon, Hagler and prime GGG. Both Hagler and Monzon retired before they were as old as GGG is now.
For sure its fun to fantasise about match-ups. I wonder about Hearns/Golovkin too. If Hearns could stick to the boxing it would be jab vs jab, and Hearns had the power to keep Golovkin honest too. That would also be a superb match-up.

You can’t even admit you are wrong when you evaluate both of their opponents during their 20 title defenses. I put the lists up for morons like YOU. If you look at both of there opponents objectively, you will see that GGG fought better opposition during his 20 title defenses. But you can’t because you are clueless and a phony boxing fan. And Nobody cares about your theory about whether or not GGG was a “genuine WBA champ” he is was and is the champ on record. You should see the comment responses to my thread by kafkod at 5:14 pm today. He basically sees both of their opponents the same way most people with common sense would instead of making up theories to justify your argument, genius!

              GGG KO’s Monzon

Hopkins was boring and may have survived but I doubt it.

The real match would have been GGG vs HAGLER IN THEIR PRIMES

It would have been a KO and the fight may have screwed them for other fights !

GGG would have won by KO

GGG would have KO’d SRR as a MW due to the wars and old age.

GGG WOULD have murdered Mayweather at 154 and they would have to had carried his asz out UNLESS HE jumped out of the ring running for his life.

GGG is not done but the only one that beats him is Father Time

So Golovkin is now the paper titlist and Murata is the WBA champ?
Stop your bull**** man it's embarrassing. Golovkin wasn't the WBA champion, these aren't casuals you can fool on this forum.

FACT: Sturm and Geale were BOTH ranked higher than Golovkin

FACT: your opinion, does not justify world-title defences..... and nor does anyone else's opinion..... Golovkin was not even the #1 contender to Sturm, Geale was

stick your.... " close enough "..... up your silly fanboy ass

grow up, and stop expecting REAL fans to support the lowering of standards within boxing..... for Golovkin

how the fk can the WBA have three " champions " you muppet?

that is a result of greed and ******ity..... trust you to be on board waving your pom-pom's

you NEVER support what is best for boxing, only what is best for your "fave" lol

neither Golovkin, nor his fans, have any REAL respect for the sport
