Wrong on both accounts. Wilder's social media announced that he'd sent an email containing the offer. It was not a social media offer. Wilder's team said a sit down meeting would be unproductive prior to agreeing on the financial terms. They NEVER refused to talk. Here is what happened in a nutshell: Hearn sent Wilder an offer and scheduled a meeting to negotiate and try to work out a deal.
Wilder's team sent Hearn a counter-offer via twitter which astonished everybody, then cancelled the meeting with Hearn and refused to talk to him unless he "had AJ agree to the offer first"
AJ responded via twitter, "Let's roll"
Hearn said he was interested in the offer and again requested a meeting to discuss it, because he says he can't agree to anything until he knows the details.
Wilder's team won't talk to Hearn and they won't tell him any of the details of the offer unless he agrees to it first, which he has told them he isn't going to do.
Hand on heart, because this is the honest truth: If the boot was on the other foot, and it was Hearn and AJ sending offers via social media, then cancelling meetings and refusing to discuss them, I would be calling bullshit on them for doing that.
You can put your hand on your heart, fingers in your ears, face in your palms, and it still wouldn't make your perspective legitimate because you seem to not be able to get the facts straight.
Absolutely nothing prevents Hearn from picking up the phone and saying "hey, I know some of the details are proprietary and in this negotiation, you may not want to play all your cards at once, but these are my show stoppers".
Here's my problem with you guys, when Team Wilder operates in the public realm, you say "stop running to the media or stop trying to negotiate in public". However, when they aren't in the media, you ASSUME, that they aren't working to try and make this fight and are just sitting in a corner hands folded refusing to answer the phone.
Conversely, when Hearn does make a public statement, and he makes a lot of them, its hey, they asked a question he's just answering. Its his job to talk to the media. Then, you take liberties with what he says and turn it into "what he really meant was". On top of that, whenever he says something contrary or conflicting with your narrative, you ignore it.
Listen, I'm a fan of boxing and not one particular fighter. I want to see the fight. If Wilder wins cool. If Joshua wins cool. I just want to see the fight. What I hate is when folks try and over-simplify complicated **** so that they can argue. To me, that's what you do. This is a complicated thing, we don't have all the facts, just the ones they want us to know.Comment

You're right, that is very try of a Wilder fanboy.
And if you think everything Hearn says is true then you're just as much of a Joshua fanboy. Or even worse, a Hearn fanboy.Comment

"What do you know? The 12.5m offer turns out to be nonsense. "
No you simpleton it was an offer that Finkel could counter and did ......WEEKS later .
The 50 Million offer doesnt allow or guarantee Wilder even makes 10 Million .
The only irony here is your screen name DIZZY boy !

if I recall the meeting request came after the 50 million offer. If Hearn would have simply said yes we agree to that dollar amount now let’s meet to go over other details , there would have been a meeting . Finkel didn’t set up the meeting cause Hearn didn’t agree to the money he requested . I mean Hearn what channel will it be on , what location, etc it shouldn’t matter. What’s the difference if they fight in Hong Kong on Halloween and the playboy channel carries the fight ? AJ gets 50 mill either wayComment

Hearn, Haymon and Deas already had a meeting scheduled to negotiate making the fight, and Hearn had flown over to States expecting that he was going to talk with them.
Why cancel the meeting? How is that supposed to be a constructive move?

Are you being deliberately ******? Is playing the idiot preferable to facing the facts, if the facts don't fit your agenda?
All Hearn is saying is that he needs to know the details of the offer before he can agree to it, but Wilder's team won't talk to him.
And I know he is telling the truth because Finkel himself said the same thing: "Have AJ accept the offer first .. then we'll talk to you."

Turns out the $12.5m and all that talk about the fight not generating enough to pay more was just BS."What do you know? The 12.5m offer turns out to be nonsense. "
