So do we agree that Hearn is essentially saying this:
I will accept the 50M guaranteed, but only if I like the location, we can make money off of our sponsors.
Here is his quote.
"Not this weekend, but if the money is there and the venue is to our liking, the money is secure and the other rights are taken care of there is a real strong chance this fight could happen,"
That sounds like control. His location. His sponsors (rights). What else is there from a revenue perspective that Hearn would be leaving up to Team Wilder.Comment

World of Boxing put up just over $23m to host Klitschko-Povetkin, when Klitschko's own company only thought the fight was worth $7m.
You're severely mistaken if you honestly believe that Povetkin is going to voluntarily have his title shot in the UK.Comment

It's his job to ensure that his clients interests are protected. Do you think he should simply break all the commercial agreements he's signed because someone is offering to pay Aj twice his usual purse? So do we agree that Hearn is essentially saying this:

That would be a very short sighted move in my view.Comment

Finkell doesn't have to say ****, because it's his camp putting up the money. So Hearn has explained why he doesn't want to agree to the offer without knowing the details of what he is agreeing to.
But Finkel has not explained why he won't show Hearn the details unless he accepts the offer first.
In either case, whether Hearn sees the details before or after he agrees to the offer, Finkel is going to have to write them down and show them to him, because Hearn isn't going to sign a contract that just says, "AJ is guaranteed $50million" and then let Finkel fill in the terms afterwards!
So why doesn't he just stop wasting everybody's time and give Hearn the details now?
If Hearn is worried about corporate sponsors, the broadcaster, wanting the fight in the UK, haggle over those points in the actual sit-down.
If Anthony Joshua is getting a guaranteed $50m, and Hearn has to walk away because Team Wilder wants the ticketing to go through Ticketmaster instead of StubHub (or some other trivial excuse), that's got nothing to do with Deontay Wilder or his camp.
Because, if Eddie Hearn wants to dictate the location, the event sponsors, the ticketing agency, the color of the ring mat, or any other actual detail, he should put up the money.Comment
