I feel like instead of addressing the issue, most AJ fans want to get into a game of semantics.

If it's the latter, then how can anyone support the $12.5M flat fee offer if $100M in purses is in the realm of possibility.
He isn't the one that claimed someone is ducking and dodging him, or no more excuses. So if the accountants on these boards can get Showtime or any american networks to get that easy money then we would have the fight that we all craved. I want to see the fight thats why i want these two to sort out the offers on the table.

Here is how i take it. So, in Joshua's offer to Wilder, Joshua offered Wilder 12.5 million. Lets assume that in that offer, Joshua see's that his side would receive around 50 million. Now, Joshua says he don't care how its split up, as long as his side gets 50 million. That would put the total purse at 62.5 million. A percentage split from those numbers would make it an 80/20 split in Joshua's favor. If Wilder got the 60/40 split that he was asking for, that would be 25 million for wilder and 37.5 million for Joshua. Since nobody knows exactly how much this fight will do, a percentage split will be the best route for each fighter. That way, they both know that the more they sell the fight, the more money goes in their pockets. If the fight does 62.5+, then they both get more money. This ****** talk about i have to have this much money is rubbish. Just make the fight with a fair purse split and be done with it.
