He talks about going to others' backyards but when it gets serious, he reverts back to saying the fight should be in the States.
Ok, fine.
A 25% take-it-or-leave-it offer definitely isn't a good opening offer, if one is serious about making the fight. I'm sure you can agree with that.
Wilder has stated several times he'll travel to fight, and he hasn't asked for the fight to be here in the states. Bottom line is, if AJ is a "businessman" and a "hustler" as he states, clearly the fight does better numbers here though.

The fabled riches only exist in fanboy imaginations. The real revenue is all locked up in the house that AJ built. It's 90k fans in Wembley Stadium, 2m X 30$ Sky TV PPV packages and the international rights that come yr way if you are a 28 year old holder of 4 heavyweight belts in only 21 fights and perhaps boxing's only true, potential international superstar.
It's enough money to dwarf Wilder's previous pay checks and set him and his team up for life if wisely invested but it's not 50m USD and it will never be. If Wilder had made the same progress in his market that AJ has over here then it could be, but he's not. Nowhere near in fact.
Wilder can take a slice of the pie AJ and Hearn have baked but he won't get 40% because he doesn't deserve to. He didn't take the risks in the fights he took on. He didn't overpay to assemble the belts. He's 32 and 40 fights into his pro career and his resume sucks. These are e uncomfortable facts.
Did Parker take risk or Martin??? No and they got lots of cash ..... Wilder took a massive risk with Ortiz and if Parker got 33% then Wilder has every Right too 40 percent. While I’ll admit he only has 2 top 10 ( 5 in ratings) under his belt, he still the number 2 Draw only behind AJ.....
Let’s not Forget this fight will be Joshua biggest pay day too more then Klits and Parker. So too short change the guy who’s bringing the most money too the party is ****ish.

It's almost like Joshua and Hearn read the board and are owning the Wilder fans/accountants.
This has all happened in a week from Wilder's fans
"It's not about the money who cares about the money we aren't making their money I just want to see the fight. Wilder will take anything he's said that"
Offer is made and is 6x higher than his highest reported purse
It's a lowball offer they don't want it. The offer is a slap in the face while Joshua makes 88m and the fight is guaranteed to generate 100m
Joshua offers 50/50 split and to take 38m less than what Wilder fans said he was demanding.
What's next? Is it only a $50m fight? Is Wilder really deserving of 60%? He ducking doe?
Whatever it is the Wilder fans have to backtrack and have contradicted themselves if they say anything but "Wilder should take the 12.5m" or "Wilder should offer the $50m"

The fight is in AJs backyard, he makes more, not sure why they are doing all of this after they negotiated and came up with a deal with the other champ parker.
